After you send a few messages back and forth with the unknown number, you suddenly can’t send anything. The number becomes unavailable. All outgoing text messages fail to deliver.

This must be the person who sent you the ‘Welcome to St. Hartley’s’ video, and maybe Dr. Theodore’s ‘six ounces’ video, too. Who could it be? Could it be someone you haven’t met?

Maybe it’s Jess. She seemed annoyed by Callum and Sabrina, and generally doesn’t seem interested in sexploits. Or maybe it’s Nate, who pretended to not know a thing about the SSC.

Could it be someone in the periphery? Certainly not Dr. Theodore, because why would he implicate himself with that ‘milking’ video? Maybe the texts are someone on the fencing team?

You look around the Calculus classroom. A bunch of faces without names. What if it’s someone here, someone you haven’t met but for some reason… has been stalking you since your arrival?

“Peter?” Ms. Delilah says, snapping you out of your thoughts. You blink and tilt your head. “Can you solve for x?” she asks with a smile. Everyone turns to you, and you stare ahead blankly.
