“My lord, the prisoner is ready to report for duty,” the guard told John and his mother as the two made their way back to Idena’s room.

“Good. Send her to the Professor’s lab. I bet her magic could help him improve the pod,” ordered John. The guard nodded and moved to pass his liege's orders on. John and his mother continued on towards Idena’s room.

“Good thinking, sweetie. You are well on your way to becoming a truly wise king,” Brenda said with a beaming smile. “I’m so proud of you,” she told her son, with a warm, motherly vibe coming from her.

“Thanks, mom. You raised me well. This is all thanks to you,” John told his mother. Brenda blushed at this, but her heart swelled even more for the son she loved, both as a mother and as a woman.

“I love you, John. I love you so much,” was all Brenda could say in response. John smiled and pulled his mother close.

“I love you too, mom,” he told her as he squeezed her ass. Brenda kissed his cheek in retaliation.

“Come, let’s go see your other baby mamma as you kids call it nowadays,” chuckled Brenda.

“Oh my god, mom, please don’t say that again,” groaned John as his mother just kept a smile on her face. The two continued down their path, chatting and laughing and joking along the way, until they reached Idena’s room. They appeared to come right when a messenger appeared to tell them all a message.

“My lord! I have an urgent message from the Spymaster!” said the messenger. The look on his face made John think that the news he had was not good. Idena also seemed to be worried, but did not appear to have heard the news quite yet. Yuria was next to her with a similar look on her face.

“And what news is that?” asked John, eager to hear the news.

“Nariah made contact with one of Idena’s flock,” the messenger said. “It seems she was fleeing to find assistance. Orcs have attacked the flock. Idena’s mother and sister have rallied the harpies to fight but it is a losing battle. She sent her fastest harpies out to search for you, my lord, and you, Guard Captain, in hopes that you two could save them. Or...at the very least she can see her daughter one last time…” the messenger said.

Brenda was silent, but the look on her face was clear: shock and horror. She could not believe the news she had just heard. As a mother, she could not imagine dying and not seeing her precious John at the moment of her ****.

As the messenger spoke, Yuria begin to recall memories she had thought she was over and had buried. Her brother and his cubs came flooding back to her. Her eyes quickly became covered in tears as she could not help but cry at the news. Now another one here knew her pain. She would do what she could to ease Idena’s pain, just like how her mistress had eased her pain.

Idena, meanwhile, had started to tear up when she heard her family was being attacked. She had turned into full blown crying when she heard her mother was going to die and only wanted to see her one last time. The guilt of not going back and seeing her family once she was freed from John’s **** collar and had more agency now gnawed at her conscience. How could she live with herself, and raise her daughter, knowing she left her mother to die without seeing her one last time? She could not. She had to do something.

The whole time he listened to the messenger, John could feel his anger rising. Someone was attacking the harpies? His future family? They had to know that one of those harpies was with him. He apparently had become quite the figure in the Abyss because of his dealing with the Golden Order. Now they were attacking people that were close to not only someone he cared about, but the future mother of his first children. That could not stand. He would crush them all. He would bring the might of his fledgling kingdom down on them. He would make them pay. This anger he felt, he would turn it into a spear and thrust it directly into the heart of those who dared harm someone close to him. They made Idena cry, so their lives were forfeit.

New Module Unlocked: The ****

A bright flash appeared, blinding all in the hall, that originated from John. The four other people in the hall all covered their eyes to protect themselves. When the light subsided and they could look at John, they all gasped in awe at what they saw. John was now clad in pitch black armor with a strange looking sword hilt in his hand.

John looked at the messages that popped up when he accepted his anger at those that made Idena cry and could only let out a smirk that was shielded by his helmet that he had not worn in a long time. The armor felt right for the situation. He looked at the rest of his body and saw he was completely covered in this armor, which made him feel powerful, as if he could reach the **** even better than before.

“Idena, my love,” John said, his voice sounded robotic thanks to the voice modulator that was in the mask, “I will go and save your family. They will feel the full **** of my wraith. I will bring the entire might of my kingdom down on them. They will rue the day they ever thought to harm me by hurting your family!” finished John, a powerful, and somewhat dark, aura radiated from him.

“I’m coming, too!” demanded Idena.

“I’m sure you want ****,” John said. He then turned to his mother, “Get me Gali, Fran, Sam, and Tanya. They’ll be my strike team that comes with me. The twins will lead the military when they are ready.
