Isn't this just a get out of jail free card for the current investigation? Well that and future ones, I guess. Suddenly, I understood what Amber meant by talking about power in regards to my mom earlier. I mean, with this trait I could commit so many 'public indecencies' and be safe from any legal repercussions. I could pull the shit my father pulled and legally get away with it. But I guess there is more to life than my legal well-being. Still, for small things I could get away unscathed. Things like Donna's video could be harmless if I convince Jane that I was involved somehow.

User can prevent subject from spending and earning money or specify the conditions. Subject will be aware of the lock, but not question it. If revealed that the lock is operated by the user, subject will rationalize user's decisions.

I... don't know whether I can trust my mom that much right now, honestly. I'll actually turn it on for now. Two textboxes appeared, allowing me to specify. For income, I allowed the company's payment, for expenditures, I allowed groceries, cleaning products, and divorce lawyers.

Time to check for some upgrades... I immediately see one enticing option:

Perfect. I immediately sold Donna's Don't get caught! trait to get out of trouble and upgraded Jane's trait for it. I also bought the upgrade for the house's trait, I started having some kinky ideas with Amber already. It now reads:

Anything-Goes Home:
Every trait activated in your home will be seen as normal and be accepted by everyone in the house, never raising any suspicion. Overrides traits that do not make the subject's or user's actions seem normal to those around them. Orders given to subjects that apply only within the house will now also be seen as normal by everyone, not just subjects' traits.

In this moment, I also realized that I had forgotten about my points total, since that would unlock traits for me as well. Donna's trait was considered to be quite valuable for the app, and I can see why. But Jane's trait is so much more powerful, it only makes sense to sell what I don't need. With the 500 Total SP from Donna's trait, I also unlocked new personal traits. Maybe I should have unlocked them earlier already by selling some of the traits I had never used. For now I received:

For subjects higher than 0SP, the user can clear the past 24 hours of memories (or just any associated with the user), for subjects higher than +50SP the last 7 days can be cleared, subjects at +100SP can have their memory freely altered.

Subjects' behaviors and goals towards user are not altered by other subjects' presence, unless explicitly stated. For example, a monogamous subject will continue to flirt with the user, as long as it is never stated that the user is in a relationship with someone else, no matter how obvious the signs may be.
