New neighbors!

I still couldn't recognize the other voice in the room, but at least it wasn't one of my brothers. Still, this means they're probably a stranger, which isn't much better.

My mom and the stranger's voice became louder and clearer as I could hear them move into the living room, which is closer to my room. By now I can tell that the other voice belonged to a woman, probably somewhere between 30 and 40 years old.

"And this is our living room, feel free to take a seat anywhere." I heard my mom say.

"Ohh this is nice, is this real leather?" the woman replied, evidently taking a seat on the leather couch my parents bought a couple weeks ago.

"It most certainly is! Now, should I get us some drinks?" my mom offered. I heard a "Yes please!", but was surprised as this didn't from the woman, since it was clearly a male voice. So there's actually multiple strangers in our house while I'm stuck naked. Cool.

The conversation continued, and eventually I realized that these strangers are our new neighbors my mom was telling me about the other day.

Fuck. I totally forgot that she said she was going to have the new neighbors over for dinner. That definitely changes things.

Continuing my eavesdropping, I learned their names were Kim and Jack, and that they recently became married and decided to move to California after Jack got an offer for a well paying job in computer science. I also learned that both Kim and Jack graduated from the same college that I'm currently attending, which lead to me hearing something that made my heart drop.

"Oh, small world; my daughter Lizzie is actually going to be a sophomore at RMU this fall! I think she might actually be home right now, would you like to meet her?" my mom offered.

"We'd love to! Always great to meet a fellow Mountaineer!" Jack said excitedly.

At that, I heard the sounds of my mom's footsteps enter the hallway, growing louder as she got closer and closer to my room. Seconds later, I heard a light knock on my door.

"Lizzie sweetie, our new neighbor's are here! They went to RMU too; come out and meet them!" my mom said through the door.

I froze. What the fuck should I do?
