After letting the woman take in the sights of the red curtains and several other old items that surely were here before the smaller of the two arrived, like mirrors and even old paintings, Riley sat her down in the bed and sat on her lap, facing Bertha.

"You don't know why Mama and Papa bought you for me. So, I'll be brief as I do not had my breakfast yet. You see, I am a "special" vampire with needs that blood don't fullfill. You were custom made to help me with feeding me."

"I'll show you how, Bertha. For now... Follow my lead."
