“…we need to call Damon, this is bad.”
New arrivals
Smoke shrouds the forest, and a circular section of burned trees still smolders. The smoke stirs, and a shadowy figure moves cautiously, making their way through the charred remnants. As the smoke eddies and swirls in the slight breeze, the figure resolves into a woman, with long, flowing silver-blonde hair and crystal blue eyes, wearing a metallic mask and some kind of elaborate military uniform, though her shapely thighs are left bare. She carries a rifle with the ease of a veteran, and speaks quietly, as if to a radio of some kind.

“This is Scout Captain to all arriving units. Is anyone receiving me? Did anyone else make it?”
There’s a moment of silence before a second figure emerges from the smoke. Another woman, dressed in a similar uniform which does nothing to hide her sizable chest, she has long white hair and striking lavender eyes. She also carries a rifle, and is pulling her mask away as she approaches.

“I think it’s just us, Captain. No one else made the transfer. What are your orders?”
The Captain, looking around nods at the approaching woman. “I think you’re right, Becca. Which means we can use first names. I would say our first order of business is to find a secure location to plan. Then we can continue our mission. Even with just two of us, we should be fine.”
The white haired woman, Becca, smiles. “As you say, Layla. At least it’s you I’m with, instead of someone I dislike!”
The two of them begin to move through the charred section of forest, pulling off their masks.

The Captain, Layla, continues to speak, quietly. “Once we’re secure, our objectives are; find this ‘Mike’ that the globalists sent through, then secure any tech that may allow our return. Failing that, find some means of sending a communication back instead.”
Becca nods. “Got it. Let’s find somewhere to cozy up for a while. I’m sure someone noticed our dramatic arrival.”
Layla chuckles. “Cozy up? Very professional, dear.”
Becca grins. “No reason why I can’t have some pleasure with our business. Hopefully this guy isn’t too much of a pain to find. We only brought so much ammo.”
Layla shakes her head. “Last resort only. There’s only two of us. We don’t want to get into a shootout.”
Becca sighs. “You’re no fun.”
