New Powers, New Features

If I'm going to make good on the things I said then I'm going to need to grow much stronger, I might never be able to reach the Hero's absurd stats but even the other Saintesses could kill me with a glance at my current level, luckily, I just earned a truckload of xp from a single battle, if this is how easy I can get xp with my Cheat ability then I'll be able to catch up with them in no time.

I bring out the menu that displays all my stats and from there I'm able to put the xp I got in either my Monster Level or Classes Level

"What the fuck! Why is it so expensive to increase my Monster Level!?" I say surprised when I see just how much xp it takes compared to simply leveling up my classes.

"Were you even paying attention to what I said?" Humans can level up their classes and grow stronger more easily than Monsters! It takes years, sometimes even decades for a Monster to evolve and increase their LV, the fact that you can do it after a single battle is baffling." Responds Ariel as he floats over my shoulder to take a peek at my stats window.

"Really? Then I guess that this Cheat ability is not so bad after all. Ok, then first thing first, I'm allotting 10,000 xp on my Monster Level!" As soon as I hit 'Confirm' I feel my entire body tingle and grow hotter, the sensation is strange but not unpleasant, I close my eyes and I feel not only my body changing but also my mind, it feels like if someone was pouring something in my head but despite that my thoughts seem clearer, and even faster than before. After a few moments I hear the usual mechanical, female voice in my head.

"Monster Level increased: Greater Devil"

I finally open my eyes to check myself out, I am slightly taller and a bit buffer than before, but the transformation wasn't as dramatic as I expected, however the voice in my head hasn't stopped just yet.

New Spells Learned:

• Dark Fireball: Throw a blazing fireball at your target dealing both Fire and Dark Damage.
• Dark Flamewall: Summon a wall of black flames on the targeted area, anyone in the vicinity or who attempts to cross it will receive Fire and Dark Damage
• Lesser Charm: Charm a humanoid within range, if successful the charmed creature regards you as a friendly acquaintance. When the spell ends, the creature knows it was charmed by you. (Only works on targets weaker than the caster)

"Dungeon Level increased to LV2. Level and number of minions spawned by the dungeon have increased."

Unlocked Expeditions: You can send your minions or followers to areas near your dungeon to explore, gather resources, or attack nearby settlements. (A successful expedition may reward you with information, items and xp but will also increase your dungeon's notoriety causing stronger foes to attempt to conquer your dungeon and other events).

As soon as the voice's explanation ends the whole castle rumbles and shifts, it still looks a little old, but it no longer looks like a decrepit ruin that could suddenly fall to pieces. The fallen chandelier in the throne room is now hanging from the rooftop, there are no more cracks on the walls and the windows are no longer broken, this place actually looks somewhat habitable now at the very least.

"Ok that's what I'm talking about! Things are starting to shape up here!" I exclaimed excited from both my power boosts and the improved look of my dungeon. Even Ariel looks like he is amazed from the sudden transformation of my dungeon. "And I still have some xp left to improve my classes, let's see how far I can level them..."

I mess around with the menu, it looks like I have enough exp left to increase my Class LV 38 times in total, not enough to increase to another tier or learn new skills or spells but at least I should get some stats boosts out of them. I end up increasing my Knight Class LV to 20 and my Priest Class LV to 18. After spending almost every single xp point I had left I check my Stat window to see the results.

"Not bad if I do say so myself." Once again, I grow excited as I see my stat spread, especially after I see the big gains from my Dungeon Master Power along with my other bonuses. Then again outside my dungeon those numbers would be far less impressive so that's all the more reason why I should continue chilling here like a good Final Boss...in the making.
