New Mechanics

You have learned a new skill “Blade Dancer”.

John rose up. His breath was heavy and sparitic. His hands, and arms were filled with goblin blood and his face and neck started to feel sticky from the blood.

A black orb rose from the body giving him 6 more skill ****, raising his total amount to 12.

His health bar was relatively full. He checked it out in the menu. He was at (47,50).

He noticed a new part of the menu. There was an horizontal dragon at the bottom, near the skill tree.

The dragon expanded. There was five points labeled with

Strength - Physical strength. Strike harder, jump higher, and carry great burdens.

Vitality - Stamina and health. Increase your health bar. Shrug off physical status effects.

Agility - Speed and dexterity. Run faster, react more quickly, and manipulate complex weapons with more skill.

Runescape - The compulsive power of runes. **** the world to bend to your whim.

Alchemy - Create stronger potions and poisons. Don’t just drink mead to get drunk but to heal you as well.

Magica - Sense and use essence more efficiently. Resist the effects of magic. Hold more essence at once.

John considered on what to use his points on. He could put as much as he wanted.

He didn’t take much damage from the goblin, but he just fought both of them by themselves not together.

He could also evenly distribute his points and become a jack of all trades, but in most RPG’s people take roles like tank, berserker, healer, wizard. Still he thought it was too early in the game to choose what type of class he wanted to be.

Considering Skill **** points could be maxed out at a certain amount, he needed to choose what to spend his points in.

After a couple of minutes of deciding he chose to spend 3 in vitality, 3 in strength and 6 in agility.

He checked to see how much his health and carry weight changed. His health went from 50 to 53 and his carry capacity from 30 to 36.

John then remembered that he learned a new skill after the battle. Blade Dancer. He opened the skill tree, To his enjoyment his first active skill was there.

Blade Dancer: Duel wielding weapons could not be any easier. Temporality increases strength and agility.

Level: 1

Skill **** Cost = 8

Progress % = 25

“Fuck me” John sighed.

His active skills took Skill **** to activate. An activation of it could help turn the tides of a battle if used at the right time. If he’d known that he wouldn’t have spent all his Skill **** all at once.

All of a sudden his throat began to feel dry and lips chapped. He realized he was thirsty, he didn’t know if it was a in-game feeling or outer game feeling but he was probably in the game for 30 to 45 minutes.

Exiting the menus he looked over the room. In the corner sat a bucket of water. John inspected the bucket checking for mold or blood. He took a sip, then another. It tasted fresh. After drinking his fill, he took off his chest piece which to his closer inspection was not leather. It felt like leather but didn’t have the same kind of texture. He started to wash his face, neck, arms and his tattered up armor. After cleaning himself he opened the door the second goblin came in from and started to walk.
