Nerdy Girl Kimmie goes to college

Kimmie was the perfect trope of a nerdy girl and she was perfectly fine with that. She had no concern for boys, latest style or any of the cliques that seemed to preoccupy many of the girls at her high school. Kimmie had her friends but most of her time was put into her studies to ensure she gave herself the best shot at doing something with her life. The four years of high school flew by and she finally made it to the college of her dreams. She had just finished her first lecture with plans to once again focus on her studies and head back to her room but the guy sitting next to her caused her heart to skip a beat for the first time in her life.

“Hey so I’m totally lost on everything the teacher said and you seem to actually understand. Mind if I copy off your notes?” The voice of the guy sitting next to her asked as she felt her heart throb.

“Oh uh yea of course,” she said struggling to make eye contact as she flashed a very awkward smile with flushed cheeks.

“Where are my manners! I’m Jake and might I get your name?” He asked in a such a goofy way that Kimmie couldn’t help but laugh.

“I’m Kimberly but I like to be called Kimmie,” she said as she couldn’t help but the his chiseled muscles on his arms.

“Alright Kimmie it is then. So how is it that I’ve never seen you on campus until today?”

“Oh probably because I’m a first year…” Kimmie said rather unenthusiasticly.

“No shit! You are a freshman and taking upper division classes! That’s really impressive,” he said as he smirked, not making of her at the least.

“Well thank you…I’m not really used to compliments…usually just called nerd, geek or something along those lines,” Kimmie said struggling to accept a rare compliment.

“Well you don’t have to worry about those losers probably still at home with their parents. You are over here kicking ass and helping out upperclassmen,” he said as he continued to copy her notes. “Hey so you can say no to this. But would you be ok coming back to my room?”

“Oh! Uh sure I don’t mind,” Kimmie said struggling to keep her composure. “Extra study session?”

“Let’s call it that…” he said with a devious smirk. “Maybe an examination?”

“Ohhh!” Kimmie exclaimed as she realized immediately what Jake was hinting at. “I mean it’s not anything impressive and I guarantee you have found girls much better…”

“Hey Kimmie…I wouldn’t be inviting you back if I wasn’t interested,” he said putting his hand on hers. Her heart was nervously pounding yet his words comforted her.

“Sorry I’m really new to this…” Kimmie said with another nervous chuckle. “But yes! I would love to come back to your room.”

“Cool! I’ll lead the way!” He said packing up his stuff and leading them out of the room.
