Nature’s embrace

Amilia slowly walked through the forest, the sun shining on her pale skin and the grass tickling her feet. She’d hadn’t even been here for five minutes or she could almost cry from joy. She had never known how great freedom was. To never have to listen to another command from her parents and make her own choices in life. She couldn’t hold herself in anymore and cheered (or rather yelled like a banshee) as loudly as she could.

This scream, however, attracted the attention of a group of hikers. Seeing them in the distance, she knew she had to hide. If news came out that she was living in this forest, her parents will pick her up and then her life would have even less freedom then before.
