Naruto's Dawnbreak

Naruto looked at all the options and almost instantly picked Akatsuki. The idea on it's own was too good to pass up even if it was only in his imagination. The Kage at his beck and call was a nice but he wanted to be the greatest Hokage on his own two feet. There was no way he would allow himself to even think about anyone controlling the others like him. He had no opinion on the rabbit goddess so he'd rather pick the option he knew.

As his pencil left the paper he felt his a weight on his pocket as he went to see what was inside he inspect the purple ring. It had been a gift from Nagato his cousin. At least that was what Konan claimed. It made him the leader of the group the world had thought was trying to kill him. He was only 8 when the entire Akatsuki appeared in front of him.

Naruto would have been scared seeing of the blue haired woman in front of him, but then a little origami crane with the purple ring around it's neck. "You are our leader we will protect you," The woman moved her hand quickly, watching Naruto squirm and panic. Naruto began to recoil even more when he saw her move her hand forward. He blinked when all he felt was a warm hand slowly ruffling his hair, "Your cousin says hello he's sorry he can't meet you," When Naruto looked up he saw a soft smile with eyes of sorrow.

It was weird having a sibling, Konan was the big sister he had never dreamed he'd wanted, He always saw Sauske with his brother and wanted that. Every week she would show up at his apartment with a new type of origami

" Are you sure your going to be okay?," Kona asked as she watched Naruto walk out of the apartment. Worry across her face. Today was the day Naruto would go get his team assigned. She has been terrified when she found out what Naruto did to get the blue headband currently resting on his forehead.

"Yea, it'll be great, I have nothing to worry about with you all with me," Naruto smiled back grin from ear to ear.

Naruto smiled even after all this year's knowing that he had someone who could always be there for him made him feel good.

He looked down at the page and prepared the next answer the next question.
