Naruko has a change of heart (tries to resist)

"Wait!" Naruko gathered herself, managing to break free from Neji's strong masculine grip. And if her soft feminine body felt colder and uncomfortable without the touch of his muscled arms... Well, no one needed to know.

"What do you think you're doing?"

She furrowed her brows, hands at the hips. Going for her best Sakura impression, Naruko gave Neji a **** glare, trying her hardest to pretend she was angry, when the truth was anything but. Her heart was beating fast for entirely different reasons.

"Even if I decided to marry you and give up my shinobi career and be your dumb little housewife, Hyuuga." Naruko pointed her finger at the bastard. "I could never do anything like that without the Hokage's permission, something that would never ever happen. Got it?"

The Hyuuga simply laughed, a calm and measured thing of sadistic glee.

"Truly, Uzumaki, your intellect is rather limited, isn't it, even for the standards of a female." Fast as a snake, he approached her from behind, arms wrapped around her belly and hot breath gently licking Naruko's sensitive ear lobes. "Do you think I would do this, any of it, without orders?"

Neji let her go, and his sadistic blank eyes met the blonde's expression of pure denial.

"No... Y-you're lying!" Naruko all but stuttered, and Neji's evil grin stretched even wider.

"The war is over, Uzumaki-hime." And, as he said it, the word 'hime' sent butterflies through Naruko's stomach. "But the Hokage and this village would like nothing better than for you to bear me a buck load of strong and talented sons for when the next one inevitably breaks out."

Naruko's womb visibly shivered with joy and so the Hyuuga decided to press his advantage, once again, tightly griping her right arm.

"Now, come, woman. You shouldn't waste the time of your betters."

Two hours later, they were married.
