Nancy & Bess’s Cursed Morning Part 1

Having been sleeping peacefully for the first time in what felt like forever Nancy is understandably annoyed to be woken from a rather nice dream about Ace by the sound of someone screaming.

Upon realizing that the scream came from the guest room that might as well be her best friend Bess's room Nancy is immediately worried that Bess is being haunted by yet another spirit that they will have to deal with so she quickly gets out of bed, opens her bedroom door, walks down the hall to Bess's room and knocks on Bess's door to which she hears Bess reply in what is clearly a panicked voice :

Is that you, Nancy?!!!?

To which Nancy replies :

Yeah, it's me, Bess.

Why did you scream?

Are you okay?

To which she hears Bess clear her throat and say in a voice that clearly tells Nancy that Bess is trying to pretend to be calm :

Yeah, I'm fine, Nancy.

Thanks for checking on me.

However, even though Bess just tried to tell her everything is okay Nancy's great detective skills make her suspect that Bess is not being entirely honest with her so she simply says in as comforting a voice as possible :

Bess, I can tell that you're not being entirely honest with me and I would have thought by now that we were past that.

Please tell me what's going on and I promise that I will do my best to help you.

To which she hears Bess sigh and say in a voice that tells Nancy that Bess is clearly very freaked out :

Fine, Nancy.

After which Nancy watches the closed door in front of her open and Bess's head emerge from around the door and say in a freaked out voice :

Please come in, Nancy.

Quickly entering the room Nancy hears Bess close and lock the door behind them after which Nancy turns around to face Bess which is when she is shocked to see that Bess is entirely naked from head to toe so doing her best to only look Bess in the eyes as Bess places one arm over her chest and her other hand between her legs with her back against the door :

Why on Earth are you naked, Bess?

To which Bess squeaks out in what is clearly an embarrassed and freaked out tone of voice :

Do you think I want to be naked like this, Nancy?!!!?

Trust me, I don't!!!!!

And I hate to break it to you but you're naked too!!!!!

Upon hearing Bess say that she does not want to be naked combined with the fact that Bess just said she is naked too Nancy's first reaction is disbelief however feeling she must Nancy reluctantly looks down at herself and true to Bess's claim she is indeed standing in front of her best friend just as naked as Bess is which makes Nancy squeal with embarrassment and realize that she obviously walked through the halls of her home naked which makes her very glad that neither of her dads were home followed by immediately throwing her arms over her all too naked body that is now also sporting a full-body blush that is nearly as red as the hair on her head and between her legs though she is all too aware that Bess must have already seen everything.
