Naked asylum

Lulu was flying back to her home country with a couple layovers. She had a few hours to spend at the last layover, so she had a meal at an airport restaurant. There was a big billboard of asylum regulations opposite the restaurant that drew her eyes: "...we will deport you back to your home country based on id or your cultural clothes."

Her luggage was checked in. After the meal she started walking back to her gate with no bags except a small clutch. A news report was being broadcast on a tv at the terminal. Her home country's government had been overthrown. The new dictator came on the news.

"All émigrés are traitors to our proud homeland!" he raged. "I will personally ensure horrible things happen to all traitors!"

"Crap," Lulu thought. "I can't go back. I need asylum, and they can't deport me if they can't find my clothes or my papers. If I get rid of those, I could just live in this airport."
