Caius is a Witch Hunter in the service of the Seltian Crown, a long standing Order recently afforded increased authority after a spate of magically suspect disappearances.

Tall and broad shouldered, with olive skin and dark curly hair, he has a sculpted, handsome face, and kinder eyes than one might expect. In fact, Caius makes a rather less dogmatic Witch Hunter when compared to his fellows, with his motivations leaning more towards the protection of the Kingdom, than the prosecution of magic users and magical creatures. He is by far a rarity in this way, and usually works alone.

He dresses in simple travelling gear, and more closely resembles a mage than a soldier, despite an impressive physique. He carries a staff and several scrolls affixed to a bandolier, suggesting a more practical, tool-focused approach to the arcane arts.
