Myria makes it to an open cavern

Myria side-stepped the cave toad bodies and cautiously made her way deeper down the shaft. She turned a sharp corner and came out into a large cavern. Several feet away she found the source of the fighting sounds.

Red hair thrashed around as the female warrior buried her double headed axe into the shoulder of a cave toad. The woman was wearing thick chain mail armor that was providing both mobility and protection from the cave toads barbs. She had slain at least two more before Myria arrived, as was evident by the bodies laying on the cave floor.

Myria studied the woman closely and surveyed the open cavern for more of the toads. The red headed warrior slammed the torch she was using into the head of another attacking cave toad. The torch sent embers flying with the collision as well as the cave toad backwards in retreat. The woman held the torch high to view her surroundings. The woman raised her axe ready to strike as the torch revealed at least three more cave toads.

Myria counted at least nine more cave toads. Three were closing in on the female warrior the others circled around the woman waiting for an opening in her defenses. Myria considered charging to the woman's aid before a thought hit her.

"With these odds the defeat of the mighty warrior was inevitable and only a slim chance of success if I aid her. Perhaps I could allow the cave toads this victory in order to follow them after they have had their way with her." Myria thought to herself.

The three cave toads moved in. If Myria was going to aid the redhead now was the time. Any further delay and the **** pens would be the warriors fate.
