Chapter 10 by Ragnockae136 Ragnockae136

The Bride/Brides-To-Be Are??????????????????????????

Myrcella Baratheon and Margaery Tyrell

Aegon Brought The Lords Before Him and Spoke. "You All Served Me Well in The War Against The New Nine Penny Kings, and I Wanted You All Here, To Help Me Decide Whom I'd Reward with A Royal Marriage. It Wasn't As Easy As I'd Have Liked, But I've Made My Decision. I Shall Marry Lady Myrcella Baratheon." Says Aegon as The Stormlanders and Westerland Men Cheer. "However, I Shall Do As My Father Did Before Me, and Take A Second Queen. I Shall Take Lady.....................Margaery Tyrell As My Second Queen and Consort." Says Aegon as The Entirety of Reachmen Present Give Thunderous Cheers To the Decision. "This Now Brings Me To The Matter of My Vacant Master of Ships Position. Lord Rickard Karstark, I Name You My New Master of Ships." Says Aegon as He Stands Up and Walks Over to Lady Myrcella and Lady Margaery and Offers Both Of Them His Hands.

Aegon Spoke In Private With Lord Stark. "Robert's Livid." Says Stark. "I'm Aware, Tell Him This, If He Doesn't Wish to Lose Myrcella, She May Remain Heir to Storms End, or He May Name Renly or Stannis As His Heir. If He Likes, I'll Willingly Hand Our First Son to Him, Give Him The Baratheon Name, and Keep His Line In Control of Storms End." Says Aegon. "And If He Starts another War?" Asks Stark. "Then He Will Have The War He Seeks, and He Will Lose Everything. I Will Unite the Realm, and If He Threatens that Unity, None Will Align with Him Out Of Fear of Upsetting their Marriages." Says Aegon. "What's Your Plan Your Grace?" Asks Lord Stark. "Your Daughter Sansa is Unwed, As is My Soon To Be Brother-In-Law Loras. So What if We Propose A Match, Loras and Sansa?" Asks Aegon. "I See No Reason to Oppose, The Knight of Flowers is One of The Gentler Knights in Current Life." Says Stark Evenly. "Then Perhaps I Should Also Offer Your Boy Rob Daenerys?" Suggests Aegon. "You've Given Me Much To Think About Your Grace." Says Stark as He Leaves. "Indeed I Have Lord Stark, But I'm Not Yet Sure Who I Will Bind With Whom." Says Aegon, as Stark Leaves.

"Varys! Come In Here." Says Aegon. "You Called Your Grace?" Asks Varys. "Send For Lord Renly Baratheon, Tell Him I Want To Speak With Him Privately. Meanwhile, Have Lord Mace Do The Same." Says Aegon. "Yes Your Grace." Says The Spider, and As He Bows He Starts to Leave. "Send Some Spies to Storms End, Hidden Within The Servants, Do The Same With Highgarden, Winterfell, The Eyrie, Riverrun, Casterly Rock, and Pyke." Says Aegon as He and Varys Both Leave. "I Have To Meet With Some Merchants In The Meantime, The Guild Wants to Speak about some stuff that they refuse to Discuss with anybody but me." Says Aegon. "Shall I Have Lord Tyrion Present Himself?" Asks Varys. "Yes, As Master Of Coin I Need Him Present." Says Aegon, Just As He and Varys Take Different Paths.

Aegon Sat On His Throne, The Kingsguard Stood At The Steps to The Iron Throne, Jon Connington Stood At Aegon's Right and Tyrion His Left. The Merchants Were Ushered In. "You Stand in The Presence of King Aegon Targaryen, Sixth of His Name, King of Andals and First Men, Protector of The Realm, Shield of Highgarden, Dragon of Dorne, and Lord of House Targaryen." Says Jon Connington as The Merchants Bow. "Your Grace, I am Ser Davos Seaworth, My Friends and I Have an Interest In The Trade From The Sea." Says The Man. "You Broke The Blockade At Storms End Didn't You? But I Thought You Were A Smuggler?" Says Tyrion. "Uh, Yes, That Was Me. As I Said I and My Friends Have A Vested Interest In The Trade By Sea. We May Have an Opportunity to Mutually Profit From The New Realm in The Stepstones." Says Davos. "Hmm, What Sort of Opportunity Exactly?" Asks Aegon. "The Ground Of The Islands of The Stepstones Is Quite Fertile, and Some of The Hills Have Significant Pockets of Tin, Iron, Copper and Bronze. If You Are Willing to Farm and Mine This, We'll Be Willing To Ship it Back To Kingslanding, Or To Wherever You Want it, for A Small Price." Says Davos.

"If Your Telling Truth, We Could Take Advantage of The Stepstones Further. Lord Tyrion, Would The Result of Building A Port and City On the Best Such Island Not Provide An Opportunity to Further Control Trade and Income for Westeros? Or would it Be Too Much to Recoup?" Aegon Asks. "I Imagine it would depend on Size, Function, and Funding Your Grace." Says Tyrion. "Hmm, Lord Tyrion You Will Sail For The Stepstones, and Will Decide if it's Worth Pursuing. The Tyrell Fleet Will Accompany You There. For Now, Wait for Our Reply." Aegon Says, The Last Part To The Merchants. "Of Course Your Grace, We Await Your Word." Says Davos. Once Gone, Aegon Turns To His Hand. "Send Word To Lord Manderly and Lord Redwyne, Ask Both Them To Meet Lord Tyrion There Personally. Tell Them to Bring Only A Token Guard." Says The King. "Yes My King." Says Connington. "Well, Now I Have The Meeting With Lords Tyrell and Renly

Aegon Was Walking into the Small Council Chambers, and Found Lord Renly and Mace Trading Jokes. "Now For Business." Says Aegon.

What Business????
