What's next?
My first dungeon
I went to the village's Adventurer Registration Office. I was already a registered adventurer. I had to pay a registration fee to get and while I had done some quests, they were kinda lame but if you want to be an adventurer, you have to either find a part-time gig or accept those lame quests.
Most of the easy monsters had been hunted to extinction, though I had heard that some had been captured as bait to lure out rookie adventurers to rob.
The village has a dungeon underneath it but it's a beginner dungeon, meaning it has been thoroughly ransacked. At least, that's what everyone thought.
"Nerovirm, it turns out there's a secret area in the dungeon." the guild receptionist said.
I bribed the receptionist into allowing me to explore the dungeon before more experienced adventurers got there. It took a bit of time to find the secret area. I noticed a dead bard.
Why do bards think their musical skills translate into adventuring? They're basically a joke.
There was also a dead martial artist. Those kinds of people don't last long in dungeons. Who tries to fight monsters with their bare fists?
Further on in I saw some people fighting goblins and slimes.
One of them was a young blue haired girl with a slender physique. She was wearing armour and using a sword.
Another was a male dark elf archer with grey skin and long flowing black hair.
There was also a mage, a rogue and a male cleric.
The cleric was quickly killed, followed by the rogue.
I rushed in there, killing a few goblins.
Unfortunately, we were quickly overwhelmed.
The dark elf archer had tried shooting his enemies from a distance but they all rushed him and stabbed him to death.
The same thing happened to the mage.
It was only me and the only female in the party left.
"Let's go!" I said.
I grabbed the girl's hand and ran. However, I fell down a trap door.
