As the voices start to speak, Muma yelps and covers her ears, turning onto her stomach and trying to bury her head, unsuccessfully, in Yulia's hood, "why are they so loud?!" she yells in a pained voice. Yulia and Cherchiel seem confused by this, once the voices have finished speaking, Muma lifts her head and grunts.

"Okay... I couldn't hear any of that cause it was too loud, what did they say?" Yulia and Cherchiel look at each other and Yulia sighs and begins to recount what was said.

Muma listens and then nods, "Well I definitely agree with the, 'give Muma food' suggestion," she says hurriedly while grinning and Yulia reaches into her pack and hands Muma some of the rations. Muma happily takes them and begins to chew on them. They're almost as big as her so it takes her a little while and she continues to talk in between bites.

"As for why there's nothing good to the left... Well I'm not allowed to say too much, but there's a terrible icky gross monster down the left path and we should absolutely avoid him, nothing good comes from going to the left, yep yep... Nothing, but icky gross monster that way, while to the right there's sunshine, happiness and pretty plants!" she says excitedly and then hesitates, "your voice friends don't seem to trust me much though... One of them actually suggested I might be Dreg in disguise?" she shudders, "ugh that's a horrifying idea... You're going to make me lose my appetite..." she says and then happily takes another bite of the rations.

She tilts forward to look down at Yulia's breasts and then cups one of her own seemingly trying to measure something, "Hmm... yeah I think I would be a bit bigger if we were the same size, though I'm not sure why that would make me untrustworthy?" she says and then sits back, "look, it's my job to simply explain some of the new problems, the chosen might face, I'm not going to fight her battles for her or even warn her about traps, I'm not even allowed to do that or tell her which way to go, that's still all on you, voices and well..." she looks a little embarrassed, "this is my first time doing this job. The guide before me was killed helping the chosen last time, so I was chosen to do it this time, any time one of the functions dies they get replaced, of course Alide, Dahlia and Dreg have been around since the beginning, I don't think anyone's managed to kill them... or tried... Either one. Guides like me, well we have a pretty high mortality rate, honestly, it's pretty likely you voices will get me killed before you ever get the chosen killed..." she says a little gloomily, "I might not even leave this floor if you make the wrong choice..." she finishes and then takes another bite, "or maybe we'll be friends forever and make it all the way, who knows," she says with a shrug, "no point worrying about it, all I can do is try to get you to make the right choices, even though I'm forbidden from specifically telling you which choices those are..."

She then rolls her eyes, "I'm not even going to dignify that last comment... I have no intention of going into anyone's ass and what the hell is an Antman?"

"As for helpful allies, well, you can find allies with useful skills, I can tell you right now there's someone on this floor that will be very helpful, at least, if you listen to me carefully, they can be very helpful," she says with a nod.

Yulia listens and then nods, "Okay... Well the voices seem to think you're not to be trusted, but that we should at least humour you for now so, let's go down this right path, Cherchiel, the voices do have a point that I can heal you if you get hurt, so you should go ahead," Yulia explains and Cherchiel nods, "understood," she agrees and with Cherchiel leading, Yulia following and Muma gleefully riding on Yulia's head they head down the dark path.

The dark path is... of course dark. Visibility is low, but the path is pretty straightforward and the tight trees on either side make it actually quite difficult to even accidentally go off the path. The path begins to widen a little bit and there's a spot with a branching path, one path is simply the same dark path, the other path has a lantern hanging on a tree and Muma speaks, "There! That lantern is important! You're going to start seeing Lanterns in the future and they are important. They will lead you to things. Important things, in this case, fruits and ingredients. The other path will lead you to the next area of this floor, but a lantern area is not considered a different area then the one it's connected too. Which means for one thing, the floor montster will never be in a lantern area, though... you're not allowed to use them as rest areas either. I don't know what happens exactly if you try, but I know it's not good, still it's a safe place to gather useful items," she explains and nods, "so always look for lanterns cause they'll lead you to useful items," she summarizes and then smiles, "so, what are you waiting for?"

"The voices..." Cherchiel reminds her again and Muma sighs, "Right right... I mean it's always a safe choice and it never leads to a different path, so it's not like you really need the voices approval, but fine... You don't 100% trust me so we'll let the voices decide," she agrees reluctantly.
