Mum is my dad?

With all the clothes in the car, I drive back home, again careful not to break any laws, much to the chagrin of the other drivers around me. But when I did arrive home, there was an unfamiliar car in the driveway. It was a nice car too, not a sporty super car, BMW, but a Rolls Royce, white as fallen snow.

Parking next to the path, I take my bags of new clothes and take them to the door. I take out my key, jam it in the lock, turn it till I heard the click, and pushed the door wide open. As I was bringing the bags inside, I saw mum come into the hallway and look at me.

"New clothes?" mum looked me over, approval in her eyes. "They look good on you."

"Thanks," I said, closing the door behind me. "Some fancy pants visiting us?"

"Sorry?"

"The Royce in the drive."

"Oh!" mum laughed, giving a nervous chuckle. "Right, just one of my colleagues."

"Right, for the company you work for," I sniff, giving it little thought as I bring my new clothes upstairs. "I need to figure some things out, so I won't bother you."

As I reached the landing and were about to open my door, mum called out.

"Actually, my colleague wants to see you."

I frown, shrug and open the door, dumping the bags on my bed before going back downstairs. Walking with mum, I enter the living room, where another woman was sat on the sofa.

"So this is your 'son' Dan?" the woman raised an eyebrow over her glasses.

"Daniella," I said, seating myself next to the woman. "Mum said you wanted to see me?"

"Yes..." the woman said, looking you over. "Your beauty is exceptional."

I say nothing.

"Right, so your mother told me you acidentically took the pill that turns you into a woman, correct?"

I nod.

"Not talkative, I see. Suits me just as well," the woman sighed, adjusting her glasses once more. "Now, your mother made a report to the company about giving you the pill. Though she wasn't fully authorized to do so..."

Turning to mum, I see a shaky, apologetic smile on her face.

"The data is still otherwise useful."

"Okay, but what's going on?"

"Well, to put it simply, I hope to bring you into the lab and run some tests over the course of two months, just three times weekly though. You see, we only just finished animal testing a little over ten days ago. And now we're taking time to get approved for human trials, when this woman here decided to take some pills for her own use."

Catching the look the woman flashed at mum made me giggle, when she shrank from it.

"It wasn't the first time she had done such a thing, but she's the only one that can do her job, so we keep her on regardless."

"Are you still mad about twenty years ago?" mum asked.

"No," the woman sniffed, her expression saying otherwise. "I'm mad because you are impulsive at times, just like you were with that woman, Amelia."

"Oh, come on, it all worked out in the end!" mum raised her voice. "I mean, look how healthy Dan is-"

Mum froze and clamped her mouth shut.

"What?" I blink and stare at mum. "What do you mean?"

The other woman scowled at mum. "You mean you didn't tell her?"

Mum removed her hands from her mouth. "Look, I was going to tell him when he finished school."

"But now he is a she."

"I never expected him to be colour-blind!"

"Maybe that was a side effect then?"

I stood up, halting the argument in its place. "Hold on... tell me what?"

Mum look me in the eyes, bit her lip and looked to her feet.

The other woman sighed, stood, and walked to the kitchen. "Just tell her already."

When the woman was out of sight, I turned to mum. "Tell me what?"

Mum let out a long breath. "Look, I'm not technically your mother."

"I'm adopted?"

"What? No, no."

"Then what is it?"

Mum chewed her lip and took a deep breath. "Look, you know the pill that gives you a big dick, the one I offered you?"

"Yeah..."

"Well, it was one of the first pills developed at my company, along with a few others."

"Okay..."

"Twenty years ago, I took one to grow a dick."

Unsure where this was going, I only narrowed my eyes on mum.

I raised an eyebrow at the nostalgic look on mum's face.

Mum shook her head. "How can I say this... I'm actually, your dad, or sire, if you will. Amelia, the woman I'm talking about, is your mum, the one who gave birth to you."

I screwed up my face in confusion. "Wait... so, dad isn't my dad?"

"He's your stepdad, yes."

I nod, not sure what to think of this revelation.

"You see, there was a complication while she gave birth to you, and because of it, she passed away. For the first year, I was struggling to look after you, until your dad came into my life, then it was made all the better."

"But did he know about your cock?"

"Yeah, he did," mum sighed with a dreamy look. "He actually really liked it..."

Blinking at the strange, back-to-back revelations, the woman finally came back.

"Yes, because of the uniqueness of your conception, and your mother's skill at work, we didn't press any charges and even gave a stipend for family expenses, as part of a long term project. Now with you as a woman, we need to monitor you for any abnormalities. Do you understand?"

Numb to the strange events that unfolded, I nodded.

"Right, now I'll leave you to it," the woman smiled and left the house.
