As Kronya repeated her previous declaration, unaware that she'd said it already from the perspective of those involved in time manipulation, Dorothea turned and gathered magical energy, focusing on the entrance to a corridor. Edelgard didn't notice, and engaged in the conflict with the assassin. "Dorothea, what are you doing? The enemy is over there!" Linhardt stated, pointing to Kronya and the mysterious soldiers with her as Edelgard started to claim an upper hand against Kronya.

"Call it a gut instinct!" Dorothea shouted. Just as the enemy reinforcements arrived, she unleashed the Thunder spell, which blasted at the entrance, and the first mages that arrived, as well as an archer. Almost immediately after, Edelgard slashed at Kronya once she had an opening, and this time wasn't interrupted, instead putting a deep gash across the Agarthan assassin's torso.

Kronya staggered back, eyes wide. How had they known they were about to get flanked!? Before she could question it further, Hubert blasted her with a spell, sending her sprawling. "...she's a durable one," he remarked. A few of Kronya's troops moved in to try to defend her as Shez moved to cut down the ones stunned by Dorothea, backed up by Ferdinand and Petra.

"Shit, this is bad!" Kronya snarled as she was healed up and realized they had lost the elment of surprise. She then yelped as Jeritza and Byleth moved in on either side of her, cutting down every soldier who tried to stop them. She barely managed to avoid their swings, and leapt back.

"Slippery," Jeritza noted, turning towards her along with Byleth.

Kronya grit her teeth in sheer frustration. "That beast we captured! Release it!" she shouted to her men, who hesitated, before they started running.

"Hey, come back here!" Sothis huffed, before the Black Eagles gave chase. Shez almost caught her as they reached the coartyard, using her warping... only to abort at the last moment when a circle of teleportation magic lit up.

"What the!?" Shez protested, looking at it, before, right before their eyes, a massive, reptilian beast manifested, roaring in feral bloodlust.

"...oh no... that creature..." Sothis said, floating back over to Byleth, her eyes wide with some fear and recognition.
