Move around the car to get away.

The sound of the voice that Anna just heard was coming from her left. The next yard closest to her home was to her right, but she'd never be able to hop the bush without getting noticed. Instead, she got on her hands and knees and crawled around the car, trying to keep it between her and the neighbor going to get their mail.

Anna heard the footsteps go by towards the mailbox. She stopped and at on her knees, wrapping an arm around her breasts and trying to peek around. This was far closer than Anna would like.

There she saw her neighbor, obliviously walking by, whistling a tune to himself as he opened his mailbox and looked inside to retrieve his mail.

Anna took a deep breath to try and keep calm. Once he went back inside, she'd be free to move. The mail truck was getting further and further away, so that would be less of a concern. She would just make the mad dash home once she was in the clear.

The man walked by again. "Lets see.... bill... bill... campaign ad, bill... oooh, an oil change coupon!"

'Just go inside,' Anna silently begged in her mind. Her anxiety grew with each passing second that she was naked outside.

"You are about due!" He chucked, giving an audible pat on the hood of the car. Anna could hear him slowly walking away, feeling her chance approaching, when he paused. "Hmm? What's this?"

'Oh come on!' Anna cringed, balling one of her hands into a fist.

"Is this some kind of fluid leak?"

Anna lowered her head, trying to look under the car to see her neighbor. He was wiping his finger at a spot where she was once sitting at. Then Anna's eyes widened and she looked between her legs, seeing just how moist she had gotten from being naked outside.

That meant he was seeing...

"This doesn't look like coolant..." a finger wiped against the tiny puddle.

He would suspect something for sure! Anna needed to get moving!

"It doesn't smell like it either... maybe going up to the oil shop shouldn't wait," he declared.

Anna resumed crawling away as quickly as she could. She would have to go around the bushes rather than over them. It would have been an easy hop, but it would be impossible to do without being seen. The jingling of keys prompted her to keep moving.

After turning around the corner, Anna's knees encountered soft grass, warmed by the sun. It was far more forgiving than the sidewalk, a feeling she welcomed.

The bushes were lower to the ground than the car was, so she laid flat on her stomach once her body was fully over the grass. She could only hope that this other neighbor wasn't home yet. She heard the car door open, and the motor start up, before driving away.
