Mostly clothed, on a nearby small island

The first thing Lauren noticed was the sun brightly shining on her face. She slowly regained consciousness, finding herself sprawled out on a sandy shore. She groaned as she remembered the yacht being tossed violently in the storm, and her along with it. She could feel a dull throbbing pain on the back of her head and had a few bumps and bruises on her legs and arms, but no scrapes or cuts as far as she could tell. She lifted her head, inspecting her situation. She was on a very small island, with a much larger island connected by a shallow crossing.

Lauren sat up to check her outfit and find out how bad things were. She was very surprised; she was still wearing her shirt (unbuttoned, but intact) and her Daisy Duke cutoff jeans, which meant her white panties were also still there. In fact, she was only missing one of her tennis shoes. Having said that, every piece of her outfit was completely drenched. She must have washed up not long ago.

She stood up, feeling the warm sand between her right foot's toes (she never wore socks.) Already, she could tell moving in the soaking wet clothes would be a pain. She considered taking her clothes off to dry them. She wanted to lay them out on a flat rock, but couldn't see anything suitable. That meant laying them in the sand which would make her clothes super uncomfortable, trying to climb a tree to hang her clothes from a palm frond, or putting up with the soaked clothes for now.
