Morning shopping.

Stepping through the rotating doors of the Stark research and development facility, six flamboyantly dressed women made their way down the lobby, gathering the attention of everyone there as the leader for the group stopped at the receptionist desk and folded her hands on the counter, gaining the attention of the security guard there who looked up at the smiling blond who wore a stylish pair of red tinted sunglasses and a fashionable blue business suit and coat. Behind her were her compatriots who waited impatiently behind her.

“Can I help you ladies?” He asked, eyeing the group before focusing on the woman in front of him who reached into her coat and pulled free a slip of paper.

“Why yes, I am in the market looking for some specific equipment and was hoping I could come here to acquire some items… For a personal project.”

Looking the paper over, the man raised an eyebrow, not understanding what he was looking at. “The heck is this? A spatial warping generator… A boxed hadron collider… 800 pounds of phased alloys? What is this?”

“Oh, just a shopping list. You see we’ve been looking around for the items to make a multi-dimensional portal and wouldn’t you know it? Turns out you can’t get these kinds of items from your local electronics store…”

“Believe us, we checked, but the last shopkeeper was very informative on where to find these items.” Pipped in the hooded woman in the back, her smile barely visible under the shade of her hood as she stamped her staff and projected an illusion of the electronics shop they lasted visited… Currently on fire.

“He was VERY informative.”

Pulling back from his chair and speaking into his radio at his shoulder, the security guard pulled out his pistol and aimed it at the head of the group of women as she simply stood there as calm as ever, her smile never faltering as she still had her hands folded at the table. Within seconds a small army of security guards had arrived, all of them barking at the women to raise their hands over their heads.

Stepping back from the front the desk with her hands over her head, Doctor Octopus kept her smile up as she backed up to join the rest of her teammates, leaning over to whisper to Electro who looked like a grenade ready to go off with how intense her glare was to the guards’ aiming pistols at her while alarms blared overhead.

“Suzie, I think its time to express a little rage… Make them dance for us.”

Extending her hands out in front of her, there was a scent of ozone in the air as a hum could be heard in everyone’s ears. Instantly, the guards panicked and began to fire. The bullets never made their mark, stopped in midair by an intense electromagnetic field that surrounded the six women. The field was so powerful, cell phones exploded in people’s pockets and computer screens blew out from the surge, all while a swarm of bullets surrounded the Sinister Susans until the guns ran empty. With a flick of her hands, the bullets were propelled outward with the same speed and intensity as they were fired. Hitting the guards and causing everyone who wasn’t already in a panic to flee the lobby.

Levitating off the ground, lightning shot from Electro’s hands, the woman screaming in rage as she caused a pulse of static charge to blast out and cause the windows burst and rain shattered glass, the alarms fizzing into static before going dead. The show of power making the Blue Goblin laugh and applaud as she stepped out of the safety of the group.

“HA hahahahahahaha HA… You know what I love about you sister? You have NO filter.” Bringing two fingers to her fanged mouth, the goblin called out with a whistle while pressing a button over the wrist of her glove, signalling for her glider to crash through the ruined window and hover just a foot off the ground for her to hop on and take flight.

“Be quite you fucking lunatic!” Electro hissed, static discharge escaping through her fingers as she hovered in midair. “Or I’ll give you some electroshock therapy to clear that warped brain of yours.”

“Ooooh, don’t make a girl promises…”

“That’s enough you two, we can bicker and threaten when we get back home.” Smiled Doctor Octopus, her tentacles extending out of her coat to walk for her as she made her way deeper into the facility. “Remember your roles ladies, we have a plan to enact, and I’d hate for you to ruin your parts.”

“Yes, yes, we stir up trouble while you build our exit strategy from this reality.” Sighed Kraven, leaving along with the others. “Bozhe moy… Such tedium.”

“At least you get to have fun!” Smirked Doctor Octopus as she made her way down deeper into the facility. “Now go, and make sure you are thorough, we’ll meet again back at Governor’s Island.”

“YOU HEARD HER LADIES! TIME TO HAVE SOME FUN! WHOOOOOOOOOO!” Darting out the hole in the window left behind by her glider, the Blue Goblin continued to cackle out of sight as the rest of the Sinister Susans left. Electro chose instead to disappear into a power outlet, becoming raw electrical current and leaving the multi-limbed woman alone in the building.

Seeing the rest of the Sinister Susans break off to do their tasks, the tentacled blonde woman made her way over to the storage halls of the facility, using her mechanical limbs to forcefully open the heavy steel doors, pry them open and make her way inside. With her hands folded behind her back, the woman looked around as the facility’s lockdown had been compromised by Electro’s surge, leaving everything available to be taken at her leisure.

“Ah… Time to go shopping.”
