Morning Coffee
Thinking about Eric, Jodie reached into her purse and pulled out her phone.
Jodie: That note was thoughtful and made the start of my day amazing. Just thinking about you.
Jodie smiled down at her phone, but no reply came. It wasn’t a big deal, she knew how incredibly busy Eric was. When he got the message she just hoped it made him feel like or similar to what his note did to her. The metal doors slid open and instead of seeing right to Mr. Wesker’s’ office across the room there was now a dividing wall that said Mega Corp Acquisitions and a few comfortable looking chairs in the still mostly open area. It looked like at least a little had changed while Jodie was out. The initial area was also tiled instead of the carpet, so she could hear her heels clicking as she cleared the wall to see the office. It looked as if nothing else much changed, beyond a few desks moving to make some space, but leaning on her desk was Janet. She was looking down at her phone and must be waiting.
The looks from other office personnel were normal, even if uncomfortable, but now it felt like all eyes were on her. Jodie wasn’t sure if that was just nerves or if everyone really was looking at what appeared to be some office tart, but hoped it was just something in her head. When Jodie came close to Janet, she looked up and slid her phone into her blazer pocket. Janet’s face had a small smirk that transitioned into a large smile before giving Jodie a quick hug. “Look at you…” Janet's words trailed off as she looked Jodie up and down, before nodding off to the side for her to follow Janet to the bathroom. With one look down, Jodie’s gaze was mostly stopped by the large melons, the intent was to make sure nothing was off so that the morning inspection wouldn’t be as traumatizing as before.
Inside the restroom Janet paced around Jodie shaking her head a little bit. “Jodie you look wonderful girl, that diet is paying off and look at these!” she said cupping the large breasts on Jodie’s chest. “You are bigger than me, and again you look so beautiful.” Jodie looked over at the large mirror and bit her lip. “Yeah, look at them.” Jodie looked to her chest, then Janet’s. Jodie remembered wrapping his lips around her nipples, feeling them stiffen in pleasure and now she not only had her own, but larger ones. “I didn’t want them Janet, I didn’t want to go through that pain or ever look like this. Why did all of this have to happen?” The happy look on Janet’s face soured. “You are looking more and more confident in who you are Jodie. Maybe all these mistakes that just keep happening that you blame on others aren’t accidents at all?” But do keep in mind, you are the one causing them, not others.”
“This isn’t my fault!” Jodie whined, and it looked like she was about to continue when Janet put a hand on her shoulder. “Not paying rent because you got fired from a job because you went to a gig instead of work. That's happening enough that your best friend wants to kick you out of the apartment, one you aren’t even on the lease for because you fucked up your credit. When someone else called you a woman, did you did not correct them, instead you layed out a plan for how your friend was your boyfriend. You chose to show up to work in a skirt. Were those other people's faults?” Jodie looked to the ground, unable to meet Janet’s gaze and bit her lip feeling uncomfortable. She really had screwed up, a lot, but it wasn’t her fault that she dressed like some office slut, that was Janet.
“Yeah, but… okay I’m like not perfect, but I didn’t want to look like this. You started this with those heels!” Janet took a step back and looked at the six inch heels Jodie was now wearing and back up to her face. “Sweetie, the plan was for you to be out of here by now, you were going to find a different job. Do you think if your boss saw his secretary acting like a man in disguise he wouldn’t have said something? If you told HR you were transgender we could have worked with that, but they thought you were a woman and you went along with that. You wanted a chance not to get black listed so I provided a plan so that no one would try and give you any real tasks, remember? I was trying to help you get by. Jodie, I took you to get your surgery, but I didn’t go to the doctor for the consultation and tell them you wanted...” Janet waved her hand at Jodie’s chest to finish the sentence. “That was you, and things could have gone differently. I’m not saying everything is your fault, but enough of it is and you need to for once take credit.”
“I… but.” Jodie felt her eyes watering and building up for heavy crying. “I just wanted to work and have another shot at you. Now I have boyfriends and dress like this.” The plural of boyfriends was not lost on Janet, but she left the matter alone, Jodie was obviously upset. “Come here.” Janet said softly and gave Jodie a long hug before pulling back and looking up to Jodie in her higher heels. “I have seen you happy, tell me when you were out at the piano bar playing a way that you didn’t enjoy yourself. That was you out as a woman, doing what you love doing. Jodie, there was never a chance of us getting back together, and dammit I really did just want to be nice to you today.” Janet paused for a second looking at her ex boyfriend. “Honestly though, you are hot. If you were interested in having a three way I bet I could convince Aaron.”
Janet had just propositioned a three way to Jodie, a few weeks ago that would have been amazing, or at least it would be if the second woman wasn’t her. Though the thought of still being able to be with a woman while dressed like this hadn’t really occurred to Jodie till this second. “Oh umm, wow. Yeah umm, I would have to say no. I don’t need anymore men thinking of me as something to put their dicks in. But… you are attracted to me like this?” Janet shrugged, I had a girlfriend my freshman year of college. Think of it like the Star Trek show you like that captain didn’t care what species was to sleep with them, attractive is attractive, and you are a lot more attractive now than you were.” Jodie wasn’t really sure how to process the information, but it did put the waterworks that were brewing on hold. “Oh, umm thanks.” Janet turned Jodie toward the door and gave her a little slap on ass. “Now time for a sexy thing like you to get to work I think.”
With reddened cheeks from embarrassment Jodie left the bathroom with a jumble of thoughts. How much of this was her own fault? Had she done any of this subconsciously to be more like the woman she found attractive? Did Janet just really offer a three way? What was happening today? Her mind was in a tangle as she put away her purse and went to go make some coffee for Adam. Stepping into his office Jodie saw her boss standing at the center of the room looking through a binder she had put together before she left on the short medical leave. He smiled at her and tossed the binder down on his couch before stepping to her and closing the door with one arm and pulling her in for a kiss with the other. Being more familiar now in her heels than the first day where she fell down kneeling in front of him Jodie ducked under his grasp and placed the coffee on the desk. “We played this morning Adam, now we work.” Jodie said in what she hoped was an authoritative voice.
Eyeing his pretty prey up and down Adam grasped the end of the little built in belt for the wrap dressed to be died and gave a little tug, not hard enough to undo the knot, but enough to indicate his intentions. Looking her boss in the eye and feeling a little more confident Jodie lightly slapped his hand away. “Adam, no.” she said it to him in a way similar to how her mom said it when she was a little boy. Adam looked sullen before giving Jodie a kiss on the cheek. “Ms Applebottom taking charge, sexy. I can hold off till lunch.” Picking up the coffee he sat down on the couch and picked up the binder. “I really did miss you Jodie. Let’s talk later about what you did away from work, I would ask you to sit and chat now, but I know you must have a lot to catch up on.” Jodie wasn’t really sure how much he would need to catch up on as an assistant when they had someone fill in, but was happy to exit the room, but as Jodie put her manicured hand on the door she looked back at him. “So how do you get off on saying you are in a relationship with someone without ever going on a date?” The statement was an accusation of the gall of doing something like that, not even so much as a conversation.
“I would say I did try to take you out on a date to play mini golf, but you are right. It is wrong that we are only doing this part way.” Jodie frowned a little. “That isn’t…” Jodie was cut off when his phone started to ring. He looked over to it and smiled at his secretary. “Tomorrow night, after work. No excuses, just the two of us.” That was not the intent of Jodie wanted at all, but the phone rang a third time and he hadn’t moved to get it. So stepped as quickly as she could Jodie answered the phone. “Mega Corp Mr Wesker’s office, Jodie speaking. How may I help you today?” The call went directly to this office so she knew who it was for, and handed it to her boss. “It’s a umm…” Jodie stumbled on the name for a second, just too much was going on today. “A Mr Dolton, he said you would want this call.” Getting up from the couch Adam gave Jodie a kiss on the cheek again before taking the phone from her. Walking out of the office Jodie looked back at her boss and now supposed boyfriend. Jodie thought about what Janet had just said and had to agree, a date with him was her own fault.
Getting back to her desk and sitting down at it for the first time Jodie noticed her name plate was in her drawer and considered keeping it there, but the ship of being Jodie had long since passed. When Jodie opened her email, she saw much more than expected and wondered what her fill in was doing with her time. While it loaded the list Jodie pulled out her phone to see Eric had replied.
Eric: Was important you know how happy you make me.
Eric: Next few nights I will have to work when I get home, one of the jobs just got expanded. More money, more work.
Eric: Have an amazing day.
Jodie looked at the messages and smiled before placing the device down and looking back to the emails.
