"Forgive my friend, I'm Tony and this is my best friend Nadia." He smiled smiled as he held out a hand while Nadia was busy adding the beauty's number to his phone. "Oh God, I'm so forgetful! I'm Veronica but everyone calls me Ronnie!" She blushed deeply but took his hand with a shy smile. "All set! Would you like to join us Ronnie?" Nadia smiled as she handed his phone back and shook Ronnie's hand. Ronnie glanced at a nearby table before sitting down with them. "Ok, now before we get very far there's something I feel needs to be clear. Ronnie, I need you to be aware that I just made a date with Nadia for Friday night. I don't want to be presumptuous but I don't want to deceive anyone either." He smiled but wondered if he was making a mistake.

"What he means is, we've been friends all our lives but we just decided to see if there might be more to our relationship. Now from my end, If you two want to date I'm ok with that. We can see where things go and meet up later and see where everything is. He has nothing planned until our date so if you'd like to set up a date he has time!" Nadia giggled at how red his face got. "I'm happy you both are being so open about this. If I'd have known before hand that you'd just set up a date then I would never have come over but now I'm glad I took the chance. Tony, I would love to go out sometime and since we have a couple of classes together we can study together too." Veronica bit her lip knowing she needed to take the chance before someone else locked him down. "I'd planned to study at the library tonight but your welcome to join me. I'd like to take you out tomorrow night though, maybe go see a movie and a bite to eat?" He smiled wondering if this was another benefit of being Freya's champion or something else at play.

"I'd love to see a movie with you! I mean, I don't do much outside of studying so I'm free." Ronnie blushed again but couldn't help feeling happier. "Perfect, he does the same usually!" Nadia laughed but was happy to see her friend coming out of his shell. "I'll be at the library around 6 tonight and I'll pick you up at 7 tomorrow night. I'd better get moving though, Got one more class and I'm pushing it for time at the moment." He sighed but stood to grab his bag and coffee. "Nadia do you think he's even realized that the barista wrote her number on his cup?" Ronnie giggled when she saw the side of his cup. "Knowing him, he probably hasn't but then again he's always been kind of oblivious to those kind of things." Nadia giggled but thought it endearing that he wasn't a cocky asshole.
