A hooded figure hurried through the night knowing he needed to report the disturbance. He'd been up late praying when he'd felt the slight disturbance. He knew from experience what this meant as it had happened twice before. He hurried to speak with the elder knowing they needed to mobilize as quickly as possible. He slowed to knock on the door before him. He hoped he wouldn't be disturbing the elder but knew it couldn't be helped. "Come!" he heard the elder's voice command through the door and quickly entered the elder's private chambers. "Elder, I apologize for the late hour but there's not much time. As I kneeling in prayer just now I felt a disturbance in the field! From the strength, this can only be caused by another of those pagan Gods attempting to return!" the man quickly went prone in supplication.

The elder man placed his book on the side table next to him before moving to his desk to pick up a phone. "Alert the rest of the brotherhood, we have another attempted resurgence beginning. Mobile our intelligence assets, we need to pinpoint the potential entry point as quickly as possible. Bring the Cleansing teams to full alert. They'll need to move quickly once we have the location." the Elder hung up knowing the men on the other end would already be following orders. "Brother Zycol, you've done well but as of now you're relieved of your other duties. For now, I need you completely focused on this issue. I need to know as soon as there are any other disturbances. Have you been able to discern the Pagan's signature? Who are we dealing with this time? Is it Apollo again? I truly hope it's not Set attempting to return again!" The elder shook his head remembering the battle to put down Set's followers.

"Elder, I haven't been able to find the signature yet but the power being used is subtle. It doesn't hold the yellowish tinge of Apollo or the black taint of Set. This power feels different, like something I've never felt before. I believe this is a different Pagan we haven't dealt with in recent times. I will continue monitoring and let you know as soon as I have anything of substance, of course!" Brother Zycol sighed wishing the other adepts were as strong or stronger than him now. "The Brotherhood of Stone will stand no matter who this Pagan god is. Now return to your chambers brother, I must contact the Vatican about this situation. Until we know who we're dealing with I must make certain we have all the support and backup we might need." The Elder ushered the brother out with a frown. Unlike the rest of the Brotherhood, he'd read the ancient texts and knew they might have a serious fight on their hands this time. He was fully aware of the power some of the Older Pagan gods had and that the records never told the full story. He hurried to the phone and dialed a number from memory.
