Moonstone Tries to Manipulate Toni Stark the Way She Does Sue

Karla Sofen was a manipulator. It was her nature. It also made it extremely difficult to trust other people. She was constantly watching them for duplicity, for evidence of ulterior motives, for the betrayal that was about to come. It had ruined more than a few of her own personal relationships. As she stared at this alternate reality female version of Tony Stark, she considered the best way to test her powers.

It felt right when she unleashed the gravimetric wave at Toni Stark's skull. Just the way she had done to manipulate Sue Storm. The dingy former heroine blinked, and the glowing sigil on her chestplate became a little brighter. Toni swayed there, blinking rapidly...and Karla could feel it.

No buzz in her skull. No annoying distraction, no pain or discomfort. No more nosebleeds! It almost made her feel dizzy with excitement.

"So you want a wife?" Karla said. With her enhanced powers, Stark's guard should be entirely dropped. Inhibitions gone. She would get the truth out of him.

"Yeah," Toni said.

Karla snorted. "And what kind of woman do you really want?"

"Smart. Strong. Stacked. Blonde," Toni said. Her eyes blinked rapidly, and then she smiled at Karla. "Like you. Really, you're my ideal."

Now it was Karla's turn to blink. She shuddered unexpectedly, a warm, gooey emotional feeling deep inside. Toni's words echoed in Moonstone's skull. Sank into her brain. Became true.

"I'm...I'm the woman you want?" she said. Her eyes glowed, her power still active. Toni took a step towards her, and then another.

"You're perfect," the bunny-slippered former heroine said. "Intelligent. Powerful. Sexy. Someone I could really settle down with."

Moonstone blinked. Her head swam. Everything Toni said was true, it had to be.

"I'll bet I'm what you really want, aren't I?" Toni said as she reached Karla, and ran a finger down the blonde's cheek. "A project. Someone to work on. You want someone you can manipulate, don't you?"

Karla didn't flinch. Her head swam as she accepted these words. Unaware of how her own powers were being turned back on her. How the suggestive state felt from the inside.

"Doom...I have to finish with the Invisible Woman," she blurted out, unable to lie. "He'll kill me!"

"No, he won't. I'll help you," Toni said, more confidently. "Together, we'll get you out from under. We'll corrupt the Invisible Woman, and then..."

Toni's hand cupped Karla's crotch. The villain moaned like a bitch in heat. Toni smiled as she rubbed the super-sensitive crotch. The longer Karla tried to use her powers against Toni, the deeper and deeper she would fall into her own mental trap.

"So. How are we going to corrupt Sue Storm?" Toni Stark asked her.
