Monsterball

Cora had been at Monstergirl Academy for two weeks now.

"It turns out that House Frankenstein will be sharing their sports class with House Vampire." said Alicia.

"So I have to deal with Athena again." said Cora.

The teacher was a Rhinogirl with long black unkempt hair called Rina Tallhorn. She was wearing a white T-shirt and black track pants with double white stripes and was barefoot. Cora could see that Rina was a head taller than her and had a mild muscular build.

"Today class, we will be playing Monsterball." she said.

"Whats Monsterball?" asked Cora.

Rina was dumbfounded.

"Its Monsterball." she said, confused.

"Its basically a race except you score points for every lap you take while holding the ball." said Sambita.

"Correct." said Rina.

Rina took them to the circuit.

"You will all run through this course. There will be five balls." she said.

Rina showed the class five balls on the ground. In the middle was a golden ball.

"All the balls except the one in the middle is worth 10 points. The golden ball is worth 150 points." she continued.

Rina went into further detail. The game was played between two teams, each with seven players. Anyone who strayed from the circuit would be disqualified. A timeout can be called at any time by the captain of either team. All Monstergirl related abilities are permitted.

"I want you to all run a five laps through this course. Begin." said Rina.

Cora noticed some of the girls, including Cerebia, take off their shoes before starting the race. Rina fired a starting gun into the air. Everyone came running at the balls. Cora managed to grab hold of one of the balls. Cerebia and Sambita also grabbed hold of a ball. Raiken grabbed the fourth ball while another dog girl, Orthrus, from House Vampire caught the golden ball.

"Really? Nobody could get the golden ball?" said Cerebia.

"Oh relax, this isn't a serious match." said Sambita.

"We'll get thirty points once we reach the goal." said Cora.

"Thirty points? House Vampire have the gold ball. They'll get 150 points for that." said Cerebia.

"Why does the gold ball grant that many points? It seems stupid." said Sambita.
