Monday night

Dinner is a strained affair of Chad complaining about a structural error at the firm and the rest of the family nodding in a synchronized, secret silence. The "Tuesday Shoot" is a looming shadow they all share, but none of them mention it.

As the dinner ends, the doorbell rings.
