Chapter 36 by Romanorgy Romanorgy

Follow Chloe and Jes

You follow the girls u to Chloe's room where you settle into the corner near the vanity, your presence a cool, watchful weight. You reach into the static of Jessica’s mind first.

God, she looks so good in that top. I wonder if she knows how much I’m staring? Probably. Chloe loves being the center of the universe. I’d do anything to just... get a hand on her. And Jason? Ugh. He’s like white bread. If she wants to be a model, she needs someone with more... edge. Someone who isn't afraid to get messy. I wouldn’t even mind if he watched, honestly, as long as I’m the one she’s actually tasting.

Her thoughts are a jagged, neon-bright mess of horniness and genuine adoration for her best friend. You pivot, sliding your influence into Chloe's subconscious. You don't want to make her feel small; you want to make her feel powerful through the lens of her friend's desire.

You shift your attention to Chloe.

Everyone is so weird today. Mom is acting like she’s possessed, Tyler thinks he’s James Bond, and Aunt Alexis is... well, Alexis. But Jessica... she’s always been my rock. She looks at me like I’m already on the cover of Vogue.

You nudge a single, sensory detail into Chloe's mind: the way the light from the bedside lamp catches the curve of Jessica’s neck and the casual, intimate way she’s leaning into Chloe’s space. You emphasize the safety of Jessica’s attraction—the idea that being desired by her best friend is the ultimate form of validation. Chloe feels a sudden, warm flush. She looks at Jessica and doesn't just see a friend; she sees an admirer who is far more interesting than her boyfriend.

"Okay, spill," Jessica says, kicking off her shoes and tucking her legs under her. "What is going on in this house? Your mom looked like she was trying to solve a math problem in her head, and Tyler... did he hit puberty twice today? He actually looked at me like a person for once."

Chloe laughs, stretching out on the bed, her midriff-baring top riding up just enough to make Jessica’s eyes track the movement. "It’s the 'Ghost,' Jes. They’re calling him Mack. Tyler says he saw him in the attic, and now Mom and Alexis are acting like he’s their secret boyfriend or something. It’s so cringe."

"Mack," Jessica repeats, the name tasting heavy on her tongue. "Sounds like a bouncer at a club. Is he... you know... scary?"

"I haven't seen him," Chloe murmurs, her gaze drifting toward her phone. "But he sent me a message. On my lock screen. I said, 'If you're watching, I hope you're a fan.' Then my phone buzzed. It just said 'Fan.' And then it vanished."

Jessica’s eyes go wide. "Shut up! No way. A literal ghost-stalker? That is the hottest thing I’ve ever heard. You have a supernatural audience, Chlo. Imagine what he’s seen already."

Chloe smirks, the exhibitionist in her preening under the attention. "Well, if he was watching this morning, he saw quite a lot. And honestly? I didn't hate it. It’s better than Jason just complaining about his fantasy football team. Oh, and speaking of hot..." Chloe leans in, her shoulder brushing Jes’s. "My neighbor Mike came over with his wife Lisa yesterday. She's the one doing the photoshoot for us. Anyway, he's a fitness instructor and he's got muscles on his muscles. Even my mom was drooling over him!"

Jessica’s breath hitches. She’s staring at Chloe’s lips, but the image of a "structural marvel" like Mike is easily taking root in her hyper-aroused mind.
