Mona puts you in a bind

After finishing eating dinner, you spent your time alone with your thoughts. A lot had happened to make you question the AMA. It was clear the producers were working against you (at least relationship-wise), but what were the AMA’s goals? Why did the AMA just allow things to go like that?

Mona probably wouldn’t forget about you spanking her, and now that rumors are probably flying on the internet after that Twitter challenge about her being a thief, you had zero leverage to keep her from manipulating the other islanders.

Two important things were going on that caught your eye in the villa.

The first one was Paige was all smiles as she got back to the villa. Like a light switch, she turned into an overly cheerful girl you remembered the first day you met her on the Island. Paige grabs Tom for a talk, and the two spent some time together in a lounge. Paige was laughing and touching Tom’s arms and flicking her hair. She was moving on fast, you thought. You checked the AMA, and her relationship status with you, and you’re Lover status remained. Under the detailed relationship report it showed:

Paige Green Status:

Affection: 80 (I'm annoyed with you but I still care about you)

Love: 90 (It hurts to think about you)

Lust: 20 (Not now)

Relationship: Lovers with Matt

Interest in Matt: 90

Interest in Tom: 5

You keep refreshing the app to see if it had changed, and nothing came up. Sighing, it was apparent what Paige was doing, and you had to give her some space to vent on you.

The second thing was Mona grabbing Mike for a chat. The two must have been flirting by the looks of it. Mona laughing at Mike’s terrible jokes while Mike continually looking around to make sure Rachel wasn’t watching.

It was clear to you how this was going to go. Mona was pinning her hopes on Mike to pick her in the next coupling. That would leave Rachel as the long girl out. Tom and you would shift between Paige and Jenna, and Rick would couple up with Liz. Mona must have been planning this for a long time.

After Mona left Mike alone, you went to Mike to try to talk to him and warn him about Mona.

“Hey,” You say, sitting next to Mike.

“Yo, what’s up, dude,” Mike said, still smiling and checking out Mona’s rearside as she left.

“Are you into Mona?” You ask.

“Fuck me, man. She’s hot. She’s like Rachel, totally my type… like you know brunette and that size. But between you and me, she’s totally more fun, you know?” Mike says. The word fun suggesting much more.

“But you still like Rachel more, right?”

“I don’t know, bro. I get along so much better with Mona… I think.” Mike replies.

“You’ve only known her for a short time. Listen… I didn’t want to say this, Mike, but that girl is bad news. I think she’s a plant, and she’s just trying to attach herself to someone to save her for the next elimination and break up a couple. Rachel is a nice girl, you should probably stick with her.”

Mike listens and then gave you a good hard look and then says, “Unbelievable, man.”

“Yeah, I know, she did the same to me-“ You say before Mike interjects.

“No, I mean, you are unbelievable. Mona said this would happen.” Mike says, harshly.

“Wait... what?”

“Matt, I thought we were buddies? Why you got to do me like that, bro? I mean, you have Jenna and Paige. You got to stop playing around with all these girls,” Mike says, giving you a disapproving look.

“I’m not playing anything, Mike. Mona is only using you,” You plea.

“Alright, whatever you say. Just like how Rick should try to go after Rachel, right? Dude, I’ll see ya,” Mike says and got up and left.

You stare helplessly as Mike walks toward Rick and Liz, who were sitting together and then starts discussing something. They stare back at you and then frown and then resume talking.

Man, things were not going your way.

You thought things couldn’t get any worse until it happened. Tom had disappeared from his talk with Paige. You look up at the balcony and see Tom standing in front of Mona. Mona plants a soft kiss on Tom’s lips, which leaves him completely speechless. Mona hugs him, and the two grip each other in an embrace. While Mona’s head was on Tom’s shoulder, she opens her eyes and stares directly at you with Tom’s back facing you and gives you a mischievous wink.
