Miranda tells Shepard

“Jane,” Miranda said gently.

“Miranda,” Shepard said gazing up.

“You know how we’ve been in an open relationship? Especially with myself and Jack?” Miranda asked.

“Yeah, I don’t mind you being with her. I don’t want to get in the way of what you have,” Jane said.

Miranda smiled. “I ended it. I told Jack that as much as I love her… I wanted to be with you exclusively. I care about you, Shepard. More than I first realized. I… I’m in love with you.”

Shepard beamed. She had never once asked Miranda to choose her. She had never expected for Miranda to choose her especially knowing how close Miranda and Jack had been on the SR2 despite their secrecy. “Miranda….” Shepard said. “Are you serious? You’re really… you’re really choosing me? Only me?”

Miranda nodded and then grinned. “I just have one condition,” Miranda whispered.
