I am sorry for you, Marus, but even if you succeed in toppling Arlain, still that wouldnt make you happy." Marus nostrils flared with anger, how dared she...he slapped her hard, hard enough to draw blood.

"And the funniest part, Marus? You are lonely. Despite everything, despite all your conquests, you isolated yourself in this ivory tower, and needs people like me simply because we are the only ones who would dare to reach out for you. So, again... I am sorry for you. I am sorry that I failed, and that you will suffer from it" He rained **** on her body, but her words kept echoing in his mind. He stormed out when she fell ****,without giving any orders to the guards.

Mira woke sometime later. The guards gave her water and bread, one of them commented "I never saw Marus like that, paladin. I dont know what to say, but... we spoke, and we will help you in whatever way we can."

"thank you" she mouthed "I ask just... if you can, put a holy symbol of my faith over there, in that wall. It will nourish me with strength when i weaken, and remind me of you."
