Mineta gets the earrings with a note and a dubious opportunity.

"Grandpa...you are either a sadistic joker who is messing with me from beyond the grave...or a wonderful king who has passed down the keys to the kingdom to his worthy heir!" Mineta states emphatically, looking down at the note on his way to U.A. From his ears dangle to 'N' shaped earrings he received with the note from his grandfather.

He had received a package yesterday, saying it's from his late grandfather. Inside were a pair of earrings and a note that he got from the man's will. At first he was supremely disappointed, thinking he got some tacky jewelry that weren't even the right initials. But skimming the long winded note, more of a letter, saying how proud his grandfather is and that he is glad to have a worthy successor to take his place as God of perverts, yada yada yada.

He eventually explained that the earrings have power over what is 'normal'. One makes everything about me and that I do normal, while the other can be used to change what's normal for the world at large. While these sound amazing, he wasn't fool enough to just believe the note and start recklessly trying to use their powers. He had to test them to make sure they were real and worked.

"But how in the name of all the super hotties in the world am I supposed to test these? That seems safe." I consider optimistically.
