Obviously, There Is More...
Mineko Date 1, Part 3: Swing! Swing! Swing! Swing!
Mineko
Mineko had a good dinner with Owner-Mona. She got to sit in Owner-Mona’s lap! She got to feed her! She even got to eat a bunch of the fish she cooked for Owner-Mona! Mineko purrs in contentment as she rushes through the amenities floor following the arrows again. She nearly crashes into a column, but skids to a halt just short.
Mineko: +8 XP (Sit in Mistress’s lap, x4 bonus [first time both participants])
Mineko: +8 XP (Feed Mistress, x4 bonus [first time both participants])
Owner-Mona is keeping up, back in her dress but still wearing her toque hat, which is good. “Where are we going now, Mineko?”
The nekomata shrugs. She doesn’t quite know either. Instead, she zooms in the direction of where the next arrow points. She stops when she sees the sign. That is a lot of letters!
“Har-em Ho-tel Ster-e-o-ty-pic-al Ch-il-d-hood Back-yard Sim-ul-at-or?”
“Again, weird way to pronounce that, but interesting.”
They both walk in and gasp, “Wow!”
Mineko doesn’t know exactly what she is seeing, but it looks magical. The grass is soft on her hind paws. The air smells of pine needles and freshly cut grass (though Mineko wouldn’t recognize either of those scents). Soft clicking of cicadas fire, occasionally overheard from the trickling of a small creek along the back end of the place. There is this strange fort thing, made of wood and colorful bits, with strange things coming off of it. And, of course, there are these little glowy bugs in the air.
“I’ve never seen fireflies do that in real life. Only on TV.”
Mineko is too busy trying to catch a glowy bug to respond. It takes three attempts, but she caught one. She shows it to Owner-Mona. “Is this a good bug or one needing squishing?”
Owner-Mona giggles, “Good bug! It’s pretty, isn’t it?”
The glowy bug flies out of Mineko’s forepaws, flashing its butt at them. Owner-Mona giggles. Mineko starts to chase after more glowy bugs to show Owner-Mona, when she asks, “Hey, Mineko, ever play on the swings before?”
“Swings? What is a swings?”
Swings are apparently some of the weird contraptions off of the fort thing. Mineko sits on the thick leather strap, suspended by two strangely coated chains. As directed, she scoots herself as far back as her little hind paws will let her go, then releases. The swing swings her forward and back. When she starts slowing down backwards, Owner-Mona lightly pushes her forward. She picks up speed and height. Her tails whip behind her in glee, her purrs seeming to bounce off of the fences. Owner-Mona sounds like she is having fun, too!
Feeling bold, Mineko leaps and catches a glowy bug in mid-air. She lands on just her hind paws, even though she instinctively wants to land on all four feet. She excitedly shows off the glowy bug to Owner-Mona. The congratulations pets are overwhelming. Gooood kitty...
When the pets stop, Mona asks, “What’s next? The slide? The monkey bars? More swings?”
“What is a slide? What is a monkey bars?”
The slide is simple enough: a strange ramp coming off of the fort thing. Mineko do not like the slide because her tails keep getting in the way. The monkey bars are also simple enough: a series of bars arranged parallel to the ground that you use your hands to pull yourself across. They are okay? Still, after trying everything, Mineko has a clear favorite.
“Swing! Swing! Swing! Swing!”
Owner-Mona is glad to push Mineko on the swing for as long as the cat-girl wanted. The pendulum sensations are exhilarating. The leaps at just the right time are exciting. She doesn’t try to catch a glowy bug again so she can enjoy landing properly.
Too soon, it is time to go back upstairs. Mineko feels a little bit guilty. “O-ow-Mona, you didn’t get a chance to swing!”
Owner-Mona scritches behind Mineko’s ears. She starts to purr, losing herself to the stimulation. When it stops, Owner-Mona has her in a hug. “It’s okay, my precious little cat-girl maid, the important thing is did you have fun?”
Mineko enthusiastically nods. Owner-Mona boops her nose. “Good. Ready for upstairs now?”
Mineko nods, a big grin on her face. Now, time to show Owner-Mona how well I can sexually serve her!
Andromeda
Scouring the basement was easy enough. Andromeda is a bit annoyed by the results. I could have saved my BP. Granted, Bioartifice Probe is probably not in the loot tables, but still...
The loot consists of coupons. Each promises either a free item or an equivalent of BP: a free set of leather armor, a free pack of daggers, a free scroll of Silent Image, a free scroll of Phantasmal Force, a free scroll of Command, a free scroll of Hold Person, a free book on Umberlee rituals, a free holy symbol to Umberlee, a free scroll of Light, and a free scroll of Bless.
Andromeda also grabs Hold Person and Spiritual Weapon from two of the corpses for her arm cannon. The former is a spell that Andromeda may take at some point; if it works out, she’ll take the spell scroll so she can scribe it eventually. The latter is an interesting spell that wizards can’t normally cast.
Winter also found a hidden room. He sneaked down the path and returned easily enough. “Drowned in the next room. Undead creatures considered holy by Umberlee. They spread their version of undeadness via exploding pustules on their body, but we should be out of here before the start of the disease would normally manifest. Damn, I wish Kevin was here. We aren’t exactly set up to deal a bunch of radiant damage. That and critical hits are the best way to keep ‘em down.”
“I grabbed Spiritual Weapon?”
“Alright, let’s see what Tegan and I can do. Everyone else, prepare to rush in?”
Gaia insists that her lion friend helps, as it is, of course, sneaky as a lion. Andromeda rolls her eyes at that, but no one is watching her, exactly. Funny enough, the lion bumping into Tegan made the vicious vixen yip, but it helpfully happened early enough that the zombies didn’t start shambling towards the door.
The rest of the party approach the room after Winter and Tegan got their initial hits in. It looks like two of these drowned zombies are still up, barely. Would Chill Touch prevent these things recovering from a normally fatal blow? Maybe? It’s worth a try...
Unfortunately, Andromeda’s aim was a little off; she just grazes her target. Tegan quickly fires off two arrows. One splats a zombie’s head; the other slams into a drowned, which falls then rises back up. Then Gaia runs up to whack at the zombie with a Thorn Whip, which again knocks the undead down, only for the thing to rise. The lion summon finally keeps the thing down.
Okay, that was not so bad. What now?
Markie Storm, Emperor of the Storm Empire
Markie Storm surveys his subjects with much satisfaction. Some have been loyal to the Storm Empire since its beginnings, when he first took command of Gene’s then minor faction in the ratfink hovel. Some are recent converts from the Foot Fetish Clan after that raid from the castle decimated the clan’s leadership. Some are from the Fart Smeller Syndicate, the most influential of the merchant guilds in the hovel. Others are from other, lesser factions, like the ABDL Bedwetters or the Breast Envy Volleyball Club Association.
Soon, the Storm Empire shall expand beyond the confines of the ratfink hovel. Soon, I shall sit on the throne! And my future submissive slut wife Laura Black shall be rubbing my feet whenever I command!
But first, a rousing speech and the proper promissory procedure.
“Gentlemen, for too long we have been confined in this hovel, separated from the rest of society because they are too small-minded to appreciate our superior body control fetish! This ends tonight! With these PP I have procured from my inside man at the castle, we shall have dongs large enough to scare away the guards and beat the Queen who have repressed our fetishes for too long. I shall rule this land with magnanimity and grace. And our rights as body control enthusiasts shall never be oppressed again!”
The cheers from the crowd are less enthusiastic than what Markie feels appropriate. He orders, “Clap better!”
The clapping improves and Markie feels a shiver of satisfaction from that. Yeeeessss, submit to my body control demands!
“Alright, Gene, start passing out the PP! We have an army of dicks to grow!”
To great cheers and fanfare, the PP are passed out. Everyone is sure to press the plus sign button and watch the magic dildoes turn blue. Then, the dildo pumping begins. Some go for the face-fuck, others the ass-fuck. As long as the toy cums in them, their rathoods will grow. The feel of the toy down Markie’s throat is sublime. I will enjoy growing my dick to heights unseen with the rest of my PP stash.
The emperor’s thoughts were interrupted by the intrusion of The Great Guy (The Great), a minor functionary of the Fart Smeller Syndicate, bursting into the meeting room. “Wait! Stop! You all are being duped!”
How dare he interrupt my ascendancy! Markie gargles, “Guards, seize the interloper!”
A couple of the bigger ratfinks captures the nerd, dragging him towards the stage. I shall punish him by giving him a negative set PP!
“Make him smaller!” Markie gargles around the PP.
“No, you don’t understand! They aren’t PP, they’re...”
And the world goes white.
Ootah
After the entrance room to this hidden area lies a small maze of tight corridors. Cousin Winter and her so-called fellow fiancée Tegan are scouring the maze like good rogues. Andromeda is using her familiar to help scout ahead. Ootah is staying calm. Gaia is busy playing with Ootah’s expanded boobs.
The loud sound of one stone crashing into another reverberates. Tegan soon returns, scowling, “You, homewrecker. I need you.”
So, Ootah follows her, turning right on the four-way intersection. “Look, Tegan, you need to accept that we all are going to be having a real romantic and sexual relationship with Mona, except Kevin. The sooner you do, the sooner...”
There is a big block mostly... blocking the way in the hall. Tegan points at it, ignoring the conversation, instead demanding, “Push.”
Ootah rolls her eyes. She puts her shoulder into it and the stone slowly slides forward. It scoots about 5 feet, then it falls? Huh?
Tegan stomps forward, eyes scanning everywhere. Ootah follows, just in case Tegan needs more help. While she walks, she asks, “Are we going to talk about...”
Tegan is still ignoring her. The pathway hits a T-intersection. They both see a door on the left-hand passage and, shrugging, try that way. Another loud stone crash (Probably another block...), followed by a Gaia shriek. The sound helps ensure that Tegan opens the door without checking for more traps. Two heavy crossbow bolts slam into the vicious vixen; the angry archer staggers out of the way. Ootah slams the door shut as she watches the mechanism begin to reload the trap.
When they find Gaia, her summon, and the familiar, the lion-girl is pointing at a puddle of... blood and viscera. “Winter started to disarm the trap thingy and he said ‘Shit’ and the block fell and he couldn’t get out of the way in time and splat!!!!!”
Winter: +5 XP (Killed 2 level 1 monsters, x0.2 penalty [overleveled], killed 2 level 2 monsters, x.4 penalty [overleveled], killed 2 level 3 monsters, x0.6 penalty [overleveled], all rounded down at the end)
Andromeda pads her way to the others. “I’m sure Winter is fine in the recovery room, Gaia.”
Ootah is busy snapping the shafts of the crossbow bolts off. It is the best to just leave the bolts in until Tegan can get to a proper healer. Aunt Daphne speaks up over the intercom, “Winter’s head is regrowing right now, guys. You going to give up and watch the rest of Winter’s recovery or do you want to continue?”
Tegan and Ootah both instantly say that they wish to continue. At least the brat and I agree on something. The others hem and haw a little, but the decision to avenge Winter’s (fake) death becomes unanimous. Ootah starts pushing the block. Gaia’s summon helps. They hit a wall. The bird familiar flaps to scout. Andromeda eventually says that Ootah should push the block to the right. She squeezes into the gap and starts shoving. A wire snaps. Another block falls on top of the first, crushing it. Ootah and the summon shrug, then pushes the new block. This block falls into a pit, then they see the next room.
One of those C2 statues await in the middle of the room, with three more of those Umberlee zombie things milling about like zombies are wont to do when food is not readily available. Andromeda’s arm cannon emits a tune Ootah does not recognize and a holy trident appears, severely stabbing through one of the zombies.
Tegan cackles, “Death to the kidnappers!” and fires off a couple of arrows at the statute. To be somewhat fair, she does crack the yellow glass bit with one of the shots. Gaia runs up to the statue and it starts to glow red hot. The sword swipe against her hits the lion-girl hard, but the hammer just bats into one of her shoulders.
Ootah rushes in, expecting the statue to be the biggest threat. Her first strike cleaves the Host representation clean through. She was mid swing for the follow up before she noticed, so she goes ahead and smacks the wreckage for fun.
The zombies shamble towards the duo in their range. Good news, the one going to Gaia gets eradicated by Andromeda’s weird song spell. Bad news, the other two are on Ootah and they hit hard. They hit fast. Ootah winces in pain, then growls.
The ranged girls work their magic / arrows. Andromeda fires off another one of those creepy hand spells. This time, the hand grabs the zombie’s throat. Ootah assumes that is a good thing. The floating trident moves to the other zombie and stabs it, but the thing mostly shrugs it off. Tegan splatters the brain of the trident zombie, but hand zombie needs Gaia to finish it off. A swirling portal opens. Must be the boss room.
“We should take a break, try to keep the fox from dying.”
Tegan growls. Gaia casts a spell and a happy dancing lion cub starts prancing around. Ootah’s wounds start to heal. “Okay, let’s really deal with those crossbow bolt heads.”
Ootah will admit she takes maybe a bit more joy in shoving the barbed bolt heads through Tegan (yanking backwards on them would have caused more damage). They all stare a little as Andromeda starts to edge herself for a solid 15 minutes. Auntie Daphne pipes up, “Wizard things, folks! Don’t question it!”
Andromeda: +6 XP (Edging in front of another contestant [three instances])
