Use your FAVOR from Milly on next roll

Milly Cherrywood tries to help(?) by disguising herself, but not the way you suggested...

Chapter 63 by fyreant fyreant

There, standing in the bathroom doorway, is Milly. However, she's no longer wearing her Boarbristle girls' uniform with its short skirt. Rather, it seems she's made use of the spell she was telling you about earlier to transmute her clothes, turning her girls' uniform into a standard boys' uniform. The jacket is largely the same, but with larger shoulderpads to give her the appearance of some masculine bulk.

At first you wonder if Milly hasn't gone all the way and changed her gender completely. However, that requires a potion, and you were searched for any potions before leaving Boarbristle. And despite Milly's height and short, masculine haircut, the disguise isn't all that convincing. You can see the raised layer of some bindings she's wrapped around her chest to squish down her breasts, and she made sure to include a scarf in her disguise to hide her neck.

You aren't sure what she's thinking but you may as well play along. "Hello, um... Milton." you say. "I was wondering if you were ever coming out to meet my brother's friends from the city."

Milly's natural voice is quite soft and would never fool anyone, but you see she has a crude solution to that. Before she speaks again, she raises her hand to her mouth. From the awkward way she moves her arm, she certainly has her wand hidden up her sleeve, and is using it to change her voice as she speaks, making it sound deep and manly. "I'm not good with strangers, but I guess if I have to." 'Milton' gives a hard look at the mundane guy. "Some reason you were staring at Francisca?"

The man in the sweater makes an awkward apology and hastens back down the stairs. Milly uses her wand to levitate yours, dropping it into your grip... though it's still hot enough to burn you lightly. "Scheiß!" you grunt, but you don't drop it, and shake your hand painfully. "Er, thank you. I am not sure what you are going for here, 'Milton',"

She beams. "Great name choice! I love it!"

"...but I'm glad you didn't strike the poor guy dead."

You lead Milly, as Milton, back down to the staircase where Aegidius is finally finishing saying hello to the guys. You can gather from the conversation that they're senior students of some kind, probably the mundane equivalent to a 6th or 7th year by the looks of them. A couple of them look a little disappointed when they see the "male" student walking behind you. 'Milton' whispers to Aegidius, who starts to nod, but you push her away and stare at him.

"You...!" you grit your teeth at him. "You dared call me a fallen woman and chide me for my forbidden doings when you've been doing goodness knows what with THESE people? One of them outright called you a wizard!"

"That is just a figure of speech, Franzi!" he whispers back pleadingly. "They do not know... and, need I remind you that I have already stated that the charge of hypocrisy stings me not. I need to get to the city Adjudicator's office and tell them of my finding; it is impossible to send messages by owl in a fetid city like this. Just make sure 'Ralph' and his friends do not follow me, and make CERTAIN they do not go to the room at the end of the upstairs hall."

He starts going towards the door. "Er... Ralph, this is another of the students... 'Miller'. You all introduce each other, I shall return within four hours, perhaps less."

Jerry, the pudgy one who'd been reluctant to bring the beer in, looks disappointed. "What? But, ahh, Ralph said you could help us... y'know, with our studies. And our investments." he clears his throat. But Ralph pats him on the shoulder. "Here now, it's alright. We've got all weekend. I don't fancy going pub crawling tonight anyway, I'd rather a night in catching up on what's been happening on the pitch. Speaking of which... Eddie, did you do something to my telly? It won't come on and I've already checked the plug."

You see Milly cringe and gulp loudly. Aegidius shakes his head. "It cannot be helped, I will return as swiftly as I'm able."

The handsome guy with long brown hair chuckles. "Ah... really, Eddie? You're gonna leave your cute little sister and her two friends here with a lot of beer and three strangers?" he says, his voice a little suggestive.

Aegidius seems confused, not getting his implication. "I suppose so? I apologize, I do not mean to burden you with entertaining her or the other students. I'm sure my students know they are guests in Herr Ralph's house. They know better than to disturb your recreation. I can confine them to their rooms upstairs if you prefer..."

"No! No no no, no bother at all, right Ralphie boy?" the confident man in the open suit says. You roll your eyes. It seems like even among these bizarre magicless machine-people, men are the same everywhere you go.

"Oooooh, I am afraid I shall have to wait on my introductions!" Felice adjusts her thick-rimmed glasses and jumps to her feet. "You see, 'Eddie' is actually my boyfriend, and he had promised to take me out for a tour of this chaaaaarming city tonight."

The mundanes start laughing and hooting. "Bloody hell! Eddie! You dog! Dating one of your own students?" Ralph says as your brother's jaw hangs open in shock. "Small wonder you don't want to check into a public hotel or use an AirBNB! Don't worry, your secret's safe with me. You two have a good time, alright? In fact, Eddie, you can take your girl out in my Rolls Royce if you want! You've practically paid for the bloody thing with your advice."

Kinzie narrows her eyes and stares sharply at Aegidius. You're getting a little suspicious too, but Aegidius doesn't give you much time. He makes for the door and Felice wraps her arm around his, pushing her bosoms against his side as they exit the front door.

"Erm..." you decide to make the first move. Best to defuse things before they escalate. "How do you do, gentlemen. My name is Franziska."

"Ahhh!" one of the guys smiles. "What a lovely accent! Sounds much nicer on her than Eddie."

You pull 'Miller' close and put your arm around hers, surprising her. "And this... is MY boyfriend, 'Miller'. He is from... ahhh... what is it called again?"

"Um... Eeek!" Milly starts to speak in her normal female voice before raising her arm to voicechange with the wand again. "America...?"

"Yes, that one." you say. "You have already met Felice, who my brother is so gallantly escorting. And there in the corner is my dear friend Kinzie. She just went through a rather harsh breakup, so we brought her with us to comfort her. Her boyfriend was a brutish beast. A real animal."

Kinzie looks like she's about ready to shoot fire and lightning bolts from her eyes at you. If she was a fully-powered witch who could use spells reliably without a wand, you think she might literally do so. She grits her teeth at you rubbing salt in the wounds of her humiliation at having been tricked into letting a satyr sodomize her in front of dozens of witnesses at your ill-fated garden orgy.

So... you and your 'boyfriend', and Kinzie, need to distract these grubby strangers for a few hours without recourse to your magic... and without making them too suspicious with your utter lack of knowledge about their world.

"Nnnnnghhhh I'm so sorry, I can't stand it anymore," 'Miller' says. "I'm so sorry... I broke your picture box. I promise, I'll pay to replace it, my dad's really rich!"

Unfortunately, they don't seem to take that well. Ralph looks irritated, and Jerry, the one in the white shirt, snorts derisively. "What?! Your dad?! Have you got no self-respect, man? Stiffen up a little! I'm embarrassed for you! And your poor girl!"

"C'mon," the handsome one in the suit says. "Don't be mean, Jerry... let's offer these kids a drink while we discuss plans, huh?"

You sit down on the couch. Milly stands there awkwardly. "Ahem!" you say. "Miller! ...'darling'? Come sit with me." 'Miller' does so, blushing and clearly sweating. She awkwardly puts her hand on your shoulder. Unfortunately she doesn't even look at you - her eyes are glued to the guys.

Damn it, you think to herself. Revving up that goofy girl's libido wasn't the best idea. As a little reminder, you lean closer and plant a kiss on her cheek and whisper comforting sounding words.

Kinzie looks at the two of you, then back to the others. The guys are staring at her like an unguarded slice of cake. She stares at you and 'Miller', and you think you see a plan forming in her mind.
