Chapter 3 by rdckrd rdckrd

What does Millie do?

Millie reads the book

Millie grabbed the book and tore it open. For the most part, the notebook was filled with dry notes on history and archaeology, but sprinkled throughout were little doodles and quips. There were hearts and flowers and little stars. At first, what Millie saw didn't make sense.

"Parker's looking huge today," one entry read.

Another read, "Dan's kind of cute. He would look hotter if he put on a little muscle tho."

Yet another read, "Parker + Brad," with a heart.

"No," Millie said flatly.

There were more entries. Many more. They left nothing to the imagination. It was painfully clear what Brad was interested in.

"He's gay? He likes boys?! Buh-buh-buh-but I love him! Nononononono."

Tears dribbled onto Millie's soft, blushing cheeks. She looked around desperately, hoping to find some kind of answer to her sorrows. Suddenly, her eyes landed on the phallic statue on Professor Hannigan's desk. The professor had stepped out briefly, leaving Millie alone in the classroom.

As if in a trance, Millie began to approach the stone idol. She brushed her small, delicate fingers across the surface, shivering a little as she did so. Then she gingerly hefted the idol, shocked by its weight. It felt so big and substantial in her hands. Its shape was undeniable, surging like a mushroom on one end and rounding into two plump swells on the other. It felt oddly nice in her hands. So big and powerful. So masculine.

"The tribe used to use this thing to create powerful warriors..."

Millie grimaced in disgust as she tried to imagine an entire tribe full of Parkers, their hideous, bulging muscles out for all to see. She didn't understand what Brad saw in that. As far as Millie was concerned, big muscles were gross and weird. She would much rather have a sweet, sensitive boy like Brad.

The gears began to turn inside Millie's brain.

"I love him..."

She held the idol up to the light. It's intrusive, oversized manliness repulsed her slightly, but the stories the professor told were suddenly intriguing.

"He likes this," she said. "Brad likes men. Brad likes big, muscly, manly men..."

Millie dropped the idol into her backpack.

"And I _love _Brad."

What's next?
