Whatever I give you would likely give you new abilities on top of what you have. I trust you and Jade quite a lot honestly, but the League as a whole? No. I can't trust them to not try and manipulate the events I was told of in their favor, especially with new powers or abilities." I explained to her, knowing that the League of assassin's would absolutely send her out to eliminate more people if she gained new abilities. The chance of her killing someone the Assassin's shouldn't would definitely go up...

But there MAY be a work around if the screen that appeared in front of my was anything to go by. "Shiva... There might be a way to give you what you want, but the cost could be higher than you'd want to pay." When she asked what the cost might be... I showed her the pop up I had gotten.

Rewards: Lady Shiva will become connected to your power, allowing her to be TRULY affected by your power granting items, on a PERMANENT basis.

Shiva read the screen over a few times, her and Jade both knew that I couldn't manipulate a screen to say anything like this. Though she wasn't happy to see that she would need to leave the Assassin's, the promise of power did seem to interest her. "I'll leave this decision to you Shiva. This doesn't seem to require I cut ties completely with the Assassin's either, merely that you are able to transfer to my organization instead." I saw her nod her head at my words, her only response was that she would think on it and consider it. Following that she returned to her room.

Over the next month however I returned to focusing on the business, using my power when I had time to deal with the few criminals that kept showing up around the city. During this time someone named Green Arrow started hunting my summons for some reason, it was starting to get on my nerves. Eventually I would deal with him, but during this month I spent my time focused on the projects that were already started. Ended up at one point having to buy out one of the construction companies working on the shelter's, it was a smaller one that had lost several people in the invasion, not too mention family members. So rather than let them shut down I offered to buy them out instead, promising to change the name and keep the business going. It was a rather simple deal and paid out the survivors that chose to leave rather than continue quite well. Enough so that as long as they didn't get to crazy with spending they could retire and spend the rest of their days comfortably.

It wasn't the only company struggling after the invasion was beaten back either, a few others wanted to continue on but simply couldn't financially. I offered to buy them out as well, or even to help them merge into a larger company. Best part is that experienced leaders for job sites as well as managers for the business stayed on and helped keep things running. I may have also offered a pay raise and a bonus to those staying on the job... that might have helped. Following that I got back into contact with the government, finding that Waller was pushing HARD for her dream of Task **** X to be a reality. I won't lie, I couldn't really interfere this time, the support she received after the invasion was just too much for me to push back against... BUT hopefully I could use this to my advantage when the time came.

Over the next couple months numerous other things happened, projects moved forward, deals were made, Shiva had to head back out for missions and would have an answer when she returned about her decision. During this time I was also called up to help the Justice League when our dear Green Lantern was apparently taken in for some sort of hearing in SPACE COURT? Watching him basically get railroaded wasn't fun, I still joined with the others to help search for evidence to prove his innocence. Though I went more to help Hawkgirl when she started a fist fight in the canteen. "No powers huh? Just fists? Why not, should be fun!" Apparently my MASK SMILED when I said that and REALLY unnerved those around us, including Hawkgirl. I slipped into one of the several martial arts I practiced in the training sim and proceeded to land an Elbow into Killowogs side, which was followed up with a kick that smashed upwards into his jaw. He smashed into a nearby table and others got up to join in. At one point Hawkgirl seemed to beat the sense back into them that they should be defending their comrade, not simply leaving him to fend for himself when there wasn't even enough evidence to go on!

We got back in time to see Flash pulling a Filibuster and buying time for the others to find clues. Well to make a long story short, a machine got destroyed revealing the planet was never blown up, the world the Green Lanterns got power from was defended successfully, the ones responsible were destroyed or captured and imprisoned, and I was finally able to return home and catch up on the business side of things...

I did everything I could, caught up on info quickly, got started on the Shelter for Metropolis even. I expected Luthor to try and block me honestly. When I showed up to check out the grounds he did make an appearance for a few minutes. "Not here to tell me what I'm doing is foolish or a waste of time?" I asked. Luthor responding with "Of course not. I could certainly do it BETTER than you, but I will admit it is a good idea to make these shelters. Though I wonder, how are you making money with a company as large as yours? And with such few products as well. Perhaps you've turned to organized crime?" It sounded like a guess or a joke, but it seemed pretty clear, he was making a threat for me to keep out of his way. "Surely you wouldn't stand in the way of someone just trying to help everyday citizens would you Lex?" I asked in return, certain that he or someone else was likely recording all of this, and suddenly glad that I was too. When he left he passed off a note too me, asking what my connection to the League of Assassin's was and if a few PR stunts were WORTH such a connection being LEAKED to say the media?

Well he certainly can be clear when he wants to be huh? Even if he tried, it wouldn't work without some pretty serious evidence, of which there was none. Of course there's precautions in place, plans already made in case he causes such problems. I took every precaution, making plans for some of the events I'd seen that would come as well. Ended up also getting shelters started in other major city's as well as getting confirmation that I was still empowered to start building my own team to deal with the threats of such events.

Unfortunately my planning for the future was interrupted when I received a message from the builders working out in Jump city. Apparently there was a problem as someone had slipped inside and was trying to take over what WOULD be the secondary base being built.
