Fuck it. At least I sort of know him and he seems to know this game better than I do. But how does this even work? It just starts you at random levels and with skills different than other people's? The questions race through your mind, as you still have to question the other features you see in the hub. Still there isn't much time to explore them before class ends. After listening to the teacher rip into you about your attitude, you're out in the hallway before your phone buzzes.

"Cowboy." Really?" It's understandable why he would name it that. The creature is in low-grade pixels in the image but it appears to be a massive brown ox, standing on two legs and holding a mean looking axe. Any attempts to click on the name and you're stuck with the message saying nicknames from other users can't be changed.

Apparently Keito said you need to be somewhere private to contract the monster he gave you. Everything about this online game seems complicated. All of this work and all you have is a countdown timer saying that the actual game hasn't started yet. But, it's not that he doesn't have a bad idea.

It's going to be much harder to focus on trying to figure out whatever the hell this game is if teachers are nagging at you. On the other hand, this seems to have became a whole lot of work just to start playing.
