Mid-battle

Amy took a deep breath of cold night air and held it, just for a moment. She could feel a familiar heat building in her chest. Then, she breathed out, fire shooting from lips in a cone of heat and light. The heat radiating off her fire breath felt good against her naked skin, chasing the chill out of the midnight air.

The flame shot towards her target, a slender blond woman in a tight cyan and grey body suit. But just as the fire was about to reach the wide eyed villain a nearby fire hydrant erupted, shooting water straight into the flames. Amy looked to her right and saw a man, nearly identical in both dress and appearance. His hands and eyes were both glowing with golden light.

"Looks like luck is on my side tonight." The blond woman laughed, stepping through a cloud of steam. A purple mist swirled around her own hands and eyes.

"Too much of a coward to fight me without your brother, huh Hex?" Amy taunted, backing away slowly.

"Please, you know Boon and I are inseparable. You should have known this was a trap as soon as you saw me alone." She walked towards Amy hands outstretched.

"Shit..." Amy muttered to herself as she felt the back of her heel touch a brick wall behind her.
