Mid-Air Battle

Despite her brain feeling completely rattled, Gwen shook off her disorientation and put her focus back on her foe, whom she accidentally dragged into the New York Skyline. Jolyne summoned 「STONE FREE」and had it pull off the webbing stuck to her face, allowing its user to see again. Due to both the wind pushing against her and the web that had been on her face, one of Jolyne's hair buns came undone. Long, green stands of hair flowed backward as Jolyne soared through the air alongside her opponent. 「STONE FREE」went into an attack position, awaiting the loss of momentum so that she could catch up to Ghost-Spider. Unfortunately for Jolyne, she was in her enemies' territory.

Even with one web-shooter, Gwen was more than capable of easily maneuvering around the city. Gwen fired a web from her left hand at a building she was about to fly by. Upon the web's connection with the building, Gwen pulled on it, causing her to suddenly move to the left. Jolyne flew by her enemy, surprise written upon her face. Before she could even look back, Ghost-Spider had already grabbed onto the webbing with her right hand, allowing her left to be freed up. Gwen then aimed and fired a web at Jolyne's back and pulled back, causing Jolyne to lose all her forward momentum and go flying backward toward the superhero. Jolyne attempted to use 「STONE FREE」to swat the hero once she got into range, but this time Gwen saw her attack coming a mile away and easily moved her body out of the way by letting go of the two webs she had fired and firing a new one to swing herself to the right a little more, making 「STONE FREE」's fist race by her torso. The Spider-Woman then raised her leg and threw a kick directly into Jolyne's waist.

Jolyne's felt blood start pouring out of her mouth once more from the blow, causing「STONE FREE」to dissipated. First forward, then backward, and now was the time for Jolyne to fly to the left. Jolyne was hurtled into the side of an appeasement building made of bricks, though she was able to save herself from a majority of the damage by resummoning 「STONE FREE」behind herself to absorb the blow, which wouldn't have any effect on the stand. Still, a large crater formed on the building's side, and even some bricks fell off after the impact loosened them up. Some residents even looked out of their windows, wondering what the commotion was about—they could even catch a green belt with a cape attached to the back of it falling down.

Jolyne wiped the blood from her mouth as she looked down at her pants. She was missing her belt, which meant that her pants became slightly looser, though this wasn't much of an issue since her pants were tightly fitting and the belt was mostly for aesthetic purposes. To prevent herself from falling to the sidewalk below, Jolyne used 「STONE FREE」to dig its fingers into the building's side and have it wrap an arm around her waist, holding her in place. Though from an outsider's perspective, it would look like Jolyne was floating.

Gwen swung herself to a building opposite the one that Jolyne was hanging from. Landing on it, the hero stuck to it by her feet and took the opportunity to look at her foe. "Are you sure you aren't actually possessed?" the Spider-Woman quipped upon seeing Jolyne floating mid-air; it didn't look like proper floating, the same way someone like Captain Marvel or Sentry would float in the air. It looked more like Jolyne was dangling from a harness of some kind, which got a chuckle from the hero. The stand user stayed silent, only responding by spitting out some blood that was still inside her mouth. "...Ew." Gwen replied back to Jolyne's silent response.
