Michelle surprises Alexa

Michelle was beaming with excitement. She had every intention to surprise Alexa. She knew that Alexa was a deep sleeper. And remembered that she tended to sleep in till around 1 or 2 PM. Michelle decided to arrive at Alexa’s apartment at 11 AM. She already had a spare key because Alexa trusted her with one, so she let herself in. She smiled at the silver tinsel tree all decorated with ornaments.

She made her way to Alexa’s bedroom and saw that she was fast asleep. Michelle found this to be the perfect time to pounce on her so she set her bags down by the bureau and then made a running jump onto the bed.

Alexa screamed as she was startled awake by her best friend. She locked eyes with Michelle and immediately reached for a pillow and hit her. “You bitch!” Alexa yelled. “You gave me a heart attack!”

Michelle grinned and laughed. “Come on, Lexi. I couldn’t help it. Anyways, no sleeping in. We have an exciting week ahead of us.”

“Five more minutes,” Alexa groaned as she put her head down on the pillow she didn’t hit Michelle with.

Michelle raised an eyebrow and then narrowed her eyes.
