Merciful or Just Pragmatic

The townspeople approach and Maple and Yulia move into their path, "This one is with us," Maple says and the people hesitate.

"Maple... You and your brother are the ones responsible for this mess, why should we listen to you?!" one says, stepping forward.

"Because I and the chosen here," she says gesturing to Yulia, "are also the ones who got you out of your cells and fixed this mess, so back off," Maple responds. The man looks at her than at Yulia and grumbles before backing off and he along with the rest of the group wander away.

Lri lets out a slightly disappointed sigh, but Sally lets out a relieved one at the same time, hers an affectation of course since she doesn't need to breath.

"Since we'll be leaving this floor anyway, there's not much point in getting Sally any tech stuff, but we could use the plates we got to get her a good shield and club I suppose?" Isalia suggests.

The group heads to Martin and using 6 metal plates they create a shield and a club for Sally. "It might be a bit more difficult and I'll need more in the future, like I dunno, two metal plates for each normal piece of ore, but I should be able to still make higher quality gear out of plates on other floors," Martin informs them.

After that they head back to the train and take the train to their final destination on this floor. The escape terminal.

Arriving there they find an elevator. The elevator is blocked by a high tech looking gate, but it seems to be deactivated and opens easily.

"I was... Keeping it shut..." Sally admits, "with me no longer in control it's just a fancy unlocked door," she explains. The group enters the elevator and begin their descent from Iralia. As the elevator descends a sudden quiet seems to move in, the quiet being the sudden lack of a sound they had been hearing all along, the constant gentle hum of electrical machines working is now gone. Maple checks her gun and nods.

"They're no longer being powered, I'd reckon they each have about five shots and Cherchiel's blade has maybe five uses before they power down and need to be recharged. Luckily the tech suits are self powering so they'll continue to function," she explains

The elevator continues to descend and they can see that they are descending towards a vast desert.
