Melissa annoys the dentist again and he kicks her out

"How long is it going to take?" Melissa shifted her weight between her feet as she waited impatiently for her clothes.

"Ma'am," the dentist sighed and started telling her again, "if you didn't want to be naked, you shouldn't have taken your clothes off." Melissa, obviously, didn't correct him on taking her clothes off. "It'll be about 10-20 minutes. And your shaking and standing in my peripheral vision is distracting, and it's actually technically illegal for you to be in here, what with HIPAA and all that. So you'll have to leave the room."

"If I stay in the hallway, will you come get me when you're done?" Melissa asked.

"Of course. Oh! And don't forget your purse," the dentist gestured to the purse that was still on the floor at the chair's left, where she had put it when she had clothes on. She grabbed it as quietly as she could and dashed towards the door that led into the side hallway - no way was she going back in the waiting room!
