Melanie vs Sophie

If someone had told Melanie six months ago that she would be playing naked beach volleyball in the US later that year she would have thought they were crazy. Yet here she was, about to face off against Team Sophie, the US hosts generously making the Brits the nominal captains of their respective teams. The format of the tournament was pretty straightforward. A draw had determined Team Melanie would play Team Sophie followed by a match between Lucy and Cassie's teams. The two winning teams would then play for the prize while the losing sides would face off to avoid the punishment.

The threat of ending up with a forfeit seemed very real to Melanie. None of the UK girls had ever played beach volleyball before, but Melanie had never been any good at sports while she knew Sophie and Lucy were both pretty decent. Cassie just seemed like the kind of person who was proficient at everything. Her teammates didn't inspire her much either. As fond as Melanie was already becoming of her, Lexie was hardly the sport loving type while Julianne didn't even want to be playing. "Okay glitches, for those not familiar with the game we are playing one set which will be twelve minutes long. If the game is tied after that next point wins. Team Melanie won the toss!"

"Probably the only thing we'll fucking win today" Lexie hissed.

"Would you like to serve or receive Mel?" Barbie asked.

"Er, Sophie can serve!" Melanie decided, not convinced she would even be able to do that competently.

"Okay, Sophie to serve!"

"Look at her, smug cunt!" Lexie whispered to Mel as she looked over at Barbie "She fucking lives on the beach. Of course she's going to win her own stupid competition"

While Lexie bitched to Mel and Julianne sighed at the pointless diversion from her more important tasks, Team Sophie were in a group huddle, discussing tactics. Of all the teams it seemed like they had clicked the most naturally. Melanie even noticed Sophie embracing and kissing the blonde girl in the cap before she went to serve.

Melanie readied herself as her friend prepared to serve. Sophie tossed the ball in the air and quickly leapt up, like she had been playing naked volleyball all her life, and smashed the ball over the net where only Mel ran for it but not quickly enough.

"Ace! You're a natural Sophie!" Barbie yelled excitedly.

"Fuck this shit" Lexie sighed.

Sophie passed the ball to the blonde girl in the cap who made a point of kissing her again. Those two seemed besotted with each other already and definitely wanted everyone to know. Something about that irked Melanie. She was determined to at least get this next one back over the net once.

Blondie served just as well, perhaps even better than Sophie had but Melanie was better prepared this time. She ran and dive towards the ball and managed to punch it away from her, but not quite over the net.

"Another ace! Way to go Abigail!"

"Way to go Abigail" Lexie mimicked in an airhead, Valley girl voice.

Melanie picked herself up, now covered in sand from her tits to her pussy. She half heartedly brushed some of it off but needed to be ready for the next point.

Once Sophie and Abigail had kissed again - that was getting old already - It was Maggie's turn to serve. Abigail quickly ran to deal with it and sent the ball back in Melanie's direction. "Great play Mel!" Barbie applauded.

Sadly, that was as good as the match got for Melanie. Even if she had been playing with more competent/interested team mates the opposition were just too good., Sophie was proving a natural at this and looking better with every point while Abigail had definitely played this before. Maggie wasn't quite as strong a player but filled a vital role, staying on the baseline and mopping up any shots that went over the heads over her two high in skill but short in stature teammates. Lexie seemed happy at least, since it now seemed far from a certainty that Barbie would win the prize.

For all Melanie's efforts - and she had played way better than she (or Sophie or Lucy for that matter) would have expected her to, her team were nonetheless defeated by eleven points to three. Lexie and Julianne both really needed to work on their serving before the next game though. They were just giving away points.

"Don't worry Princess, we won't get the booby prize, Tina is fucked and I'll try harder next time." Lexie consoled Melanie with a surprising gentle caress of her back as the walked off the court "And fuck Barbie's prize. You probably just get to suck on her fake tits or something.
