Mei prepares breakfast

When Gary woke up the next morning, he noticed that he was alone. He started to wonder whether or not he just made up Mei in his dreams. She is kind of a dream girl anyway. He noticed a sweet smell coming from the kitchen. Walking down the stairs, he saw Mei (or rather her nanobots) preparing breakfast for Bart and Stan.

"Good morning, sleepyhead." Said Mei as cheerful as ever. "You we're laying down so peacefully, I just couldn't wake you up."

He noticed the breakfast she prepared: hotcakes, boiled eggs, scones, toasted bread. Much more balanced than the daily cereal he usually has.

"You want hotcakes?"

"Oh yeah, Gary lóóóves his hotcakes." Joked Bart, resulting in a dope slap from Gary.

"Ignore him." Said a peeved Gary.

"You mean you don't want hotcakes?" Asked Mei.

"No, I meant the euphemism."

"What is a euphemism?" Mei looked confused at the guys.

Apparently, one way the language changed in 2080 is that sexual euphemisms are no more. This made Mei completely oblivious to them.

"Eh, nevermind. I didn't know we had this much food left. Who did groceries?"

"I did!" Mei said giddy, while doing a little hop. "Before you guys woke up, I walked over to the market and stocked up on food."

"Where'd you get the money? and wait, did you go out like that?"

"Of course, silly. You know I don't like wearing clothes. And physical money? You still used that in this age? I just walked out with what I needed. Do the doors in this age not scan your credit?"

Gary gave an exasperated sign. "we'll talk about this later."

After breakfast, Stan, Gary and Mei entered the van for the 1980's tour.
