Megan and David

Megan walked over to the table inside of the coffee shop, she could see her fiancée staring blankly at a book on the table. She approached him and noticed that he was completely oblivious to her presence. She loomed over him momentaily holding her espresso and waiting for him to look up, but even as she moved closer he continued to focus on the the book. Megan was curious as to why that odd looking book on the table seemed to leave him bug eyed and slightly smirking. She was about to say something before she overheard him whispering to himself.

"Its real... I mean holy shit it actually works." He muttered quietly.

Since he hadn't seen her approach he gave a startled jump as she pulled the chair back and began to sit down. He instinctively began grabbing for the book, it almost looked like he was being strangely protective of it. David's grasp loosened up however when he noticed it was only Megan in front of him.

"What works?" She asked.
