Chapter 21 by Cristen97 Cristen97

What's next?

Meeting with Jess

After the trek back to your residence, you quickly drop off your bag in your room and go knock on your RA's door.

"Come in, it's open!", you hear from inside.

"Woah!", you exclaim as Jess' room appears before you. It is much bigger than yours as it contains her own bathroom as well as a living room where she invites you to sit down.

"Perks of being an RA", she says with a wink as she notices your amazement. "Anyway, lets not waste too much time, I have to start preparing dinner soon."

"You don't have your own kitchen?", you ask as you remember her using the one in the common room on the day you first met.

"Nopes, that's the only thing missing from this upgraded room, but I guess it's a good thing, if not I would never leave my room and look after you guys", she says jokingly.

"Anyway, what should we talk about?" You don't mind spending time with your sexy RA, but you also promised Gabrielle to have dinner with her.

"Okay, first let me introduce myself correctly. My name's Jessica, but everyone calls me Jess. I'm a 3rd year student majoring in Psychology, and the RA for the 13th and 14th floor."

"Oh cool, I took a psychology course as an elective this term."

"Really? I'll be glad to help you if you have any questions. Now, I'll tell you some rules and regulations that every resident should follow."

She starts to list some obvious rules, for example to keep every common area clean, not to make too much noise during late hours or not to smoke inside the residence.

"Drinking is fine as long as you do it in your room, and you don't make a scene in the common areas. You can bring guests from outside, but you have to sign them up at the reception downstairs. And finally, if you need any condoms, you can come ask me", she says pointing to a jar full of rubbers. "Okay, I'm done with the talking, your turn now."

You spend the next 30 or so minutes chit-chatting with Jess about your studies, your adaptation in your new country, your goal in life, etc.

It's nearly 7pm when you leave your RA's room. She takes your phone number before you leave.

"That was a nice chat. One last thing: The most important for me here is that all of you get along well. I'll do whatever it takes to avoid any fights or problems on my floor, and I hope I can count on you to cooperate. If you have anything or anyone bothering you, I want to be the first one to know, and we'll fix it internally, okay?"

"Of course."

Where do you go next?
