Meeting the Don

"Don Silvio, it's a pleasure," Jabo said smoothly, his arm wrapped around Elizabeth's waist. "I hope the flight down was smooth."

"I don't fly," the Don said simply. "Gives me the jitters. Nice to meet you ... Mr. Blount. And this must be Miss Castle. My, you are a beauty." Don Silvio kissed the back of Elizabeth's hand. Elizabeth thought Rocco had probably told more than a little to Don Silvio.

"Charmed, Don Silvio," Elizabeth said, curtsying to the older man. He looked at her lustfully.

"So, Don Silvio, what brought you on such a drive then," Jabo said, trying to change the subject. "I thought we'd been working quite successfully with Luca and Rocco."

"Well," the Don responded. "Sometimes I like to be more invested in a deal. Learn the people, the places. And I understand the peripherals on his deal were quite satisfactory." He looked dead at Elizabeth.

"They are," Jabo said. "And she knows her place."
